Job Title: InDesign Operator

Job Description: As an InDesign Operator, you'll be at the heart of our creative process, bringing magazine templates to life. Your main tasks will involve page layout, text formatting, handling fonts and various file formats, and paginating within pre-built XML-first templates. You will work with different InDesign features and apply typesetting instructions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bonjour! Parlez-vous français et anglais? Fluent proficiency in both languages is an advantage, as our valued customers communicate and provide typesetting instructions exclusively in French.
Your ability to quickly grasp concepts and propose innovative continuous improvement workflows will set you apart.

Desired Profile:

If you've got experience with Adobe InDesign, you're already ahead in the race.
We're looking for someone who knows InDesign inside out, skillfully applying all its functions and tools to create stunning designs.
Your knack for page layout, sampling, and formatting will be evident in your work.
If you've worked in the publishing industry, it's a definite advantage.
Knowledge of XML, HTML, and XHTML will elevate your candidacy.

Experience:

A minimum of 1 year of experience in magazine, newspaper, or journal layout will make you the perfect fit for this role.
