Chamarel is a village in Mauritius located in Rivière Noire District, the eastern part of the village also lies in the Savanne District. The village is administered by the Chamarel Village Council under the aegis of the Rivière Noire District Council.

Today it is primarily known for its scenic locations and nature attractions in its neighbourhood, among them are the Seven Coloured Earths (visited), the Chamarel Falls (visited), Ebony Forest Chamarel and the Black River Gorges National Park. The surrounding area is also known for its locally grown coffee.

Ebene is a suburb of Quatre Bornes, Mauritius, 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) south of the capital, Port Louis.

Construction began in November 2001, with the suburb being promoted as a new information technology hub for Mauritius and as a link between African and Asian markets.

The aim being to create a hi-tech office area in order to dynamise the country. As a result, it is also referred to as Ebene Cybercity or Cyber City.

📍Flic-en-Flac

A seaside village on the west coast Mauritius in the district of Black River.

The name most likely comes from an Old Dutch phrase, "Fried Landt Flaak", meaning free, flat land. Its public white sandy beach is one of the longest on the island.

Grand-Baie is a village in northern Mauritius. Its sandy beaches include secluded La Cuvette, and sailboat-dotted Grand-Baie Public Beach, in a sheltered cove.

The popular Pereybere Public Beach is to the northeast.The village has restaurants and lively bars.

Vendors at the Grand Baie Bazaar sell handicrafts. Offshore, Gunner's Quoin and Flat Island are surrounded by waters with hammerhead sharks and game fish.
