Critical security vulnerability in Microsoft Outlook

Spying, theft or even destruction of your data as a result of remote control of your affected computers.


*Description*


A critical security vulnerability has been corrected in Microsoft Outlook, part of the Office for Windows suite.

Exploitation of this vulnerability by a malicious person could enable him or her to remotely take control of the equipment concerned and steal or even destroy confidential information.

Cybercriminals could soon exploit this vulnerability to carry out massive attacks against vulnerable systems.

Microsoft has released an update that corrects this vulnerability and protects against its exploitation.
