In what can only be described as a cruel twist of fate, 180 students have embarked on the journey of a life time together; one riddled with excitement, music, laughter, friends, Nick Sansano, patch cables, busted APIs, and some copious amounts of student debt. For one night each year, these prodigies of the future music industry lay down their quest for Gramophones, angel investors, and a passing
grade on their Capstones (senior projects), and embark on that mystical Remunicorn love boat we call The REMMYs. An annual occasion at The Clive Davis Institute, the night begins at 7 PM with a closed door event where students and faculty, where student selected and faculty awarded REMMY Awards are passed out, and hilarity ensues. Then, at 8 PM, doors open for free (donations accepted day-of-event) to the public for the REMMYs Performance Extravaganza, featuring performances by graduating seniors Stefan Weiner, Rachel Akaka, and Eli Makes Beats, and underclassmen Dylan Owen, GNYUS, Justin Stein, Kaleigh Young, Melody Hernandez, The Wobblemasterz, Jenny Ray, Topaz Jones, BFA, Del Water Gap, Emily Warren, and Mree.
