River morphology is influenced by a variety of factors, including:
* Geology: The underlying geology of the river basin, which affects the river's gradient, flow rate, and sediment load.
* Climate: The climate of the region, which influences precipitation patterns, runoff, and erosion rates.
* Vegetation: The type and density of vegetation along the river, which can affect erosion and sedimentation rates.
* Human activities: Human activities such as land use change, dam construction, and pollution can significantly alter river morphology.
