* In 2016, Jordan donated 2 million dollars to help address police-related shootings. His donation to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, the nation’s oldest civil rights law organization, will support its ongoing work in support of reforms that will build trust and respect between communities and law enforcement.

* In 2015, Jordan donated the net proceeds from the settlements worth 8.9 million dollars to Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund, The Ounce of Prevention Fund, and After School Matters.

* In 2006, Jordan donated 7 million dollars to Habitat for Humanity's Hurricane Katrina relief efforts.

* Jordan donated his first year salary with the Wizards to victims of Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

* One of the few richest black athletes who got the most diversified staffs in the world.
