Prof. Viktor Lilchikj Adams Phd (archaeol) (born 1956) with the team of archaeologists: prof. Antonio Jakimovski Phd (archaeol), Aleksandar Ilievski M.A. (archaeol), Igor Shirtovski, Goran Treneski, spent two years researching the region between the towns of Kavadarci and Prilep, through which the ancient highway between Heraclea Lyncestis and Stobi passed. Тhey discovered the regional city center and the most important fortresses that provided the main road and side roads to the neighboring regions.

Adams and the team present the first durable image of the ancient ancient city of the Venci town near the village of Rakle. The town was located on the ancient main road, the so-called Diagonal road, known on the Peutinger map (Tabula Peutingeriana). In the area between the towns of Audaristus (Gradishte selo Drenovo, Kavadarechko) and Keramie (Varosh near Prilep). The region was inhabited by the local Paeonians. Towards the end of the 3rd century BC. was annexed by the Macedonian king Philip V and became part of the Macedonian strategy Paeonia, which means an integral part of the ancient kingdom of Macedonia. The study presents the Diagonal road through the region, then all the local roads to the neighboring regions, as well as the most important castles where the ancient Macedonian army stayed to control the roads.
