Listen back to the seventh edition of “Music for the End of the World” with the musician Natalia Salmina, known as Ataraime. In her music she is bringing together fragile folk, warm ambient, soundscape noise and jazzy downtempo.
In this show, Ataraime has collected music that serves as inspiration for her work, balancing on the edge of indie pop and experimental ambient. Perhaps this is the most diverse issue in terms of genres in our cycle: dream-pop and Soviet psychedelia, piano sketches and anti-rock coexist with each other. The fragile and at the same time bold combination of diverse musical practices brings us back to the original essence of the mixtape — the transfer of personal experience: an artifact of everyday life and listening.

Facing current global atrocities, particularly in Palestine, Congo, Armenia, Sudan, and beyond, it's indescribably frightening to witness the suffering of the world now. Our hope lies in the power of communities to amplify the silenced voices, demonstrating that solidarity transcends all boundaries.
Music has always been a powerful voice for the oppressed, providing a source of hope and a means for global solidarity. This compilation features 69 artists coming together to call for a ceasefire and support the people in Gaza.
Expressing concerns about the NGOs that have left Gaza at such a crucial moment and our worries that donations are not reaching Gaza immediately, all proceeds from this compilation will go directly to local organizations and to families and individuals displaced in Rafah.
We're in touch with activists in Gaza who will assist us in directing donations based on needs and available means. Feel free to reach out to us for more information.

Pavel Shchepochkin, also known as Echo is a music selector based in Berlin, producing experimental mixes in a storytelling format.
This particular episode is a collection of various moments throughout a year, in which period this mix was produced and polished. The mix is shrouded in symbolism, from the combination of the tracks' layers to their titles and sequencing. Lots of ‘cry-in-pillow’ songs with deep meaning are morphing together with classical orchestra pieces and deconstructed elements, creating the complete picture if listened carefully according to the journey.

glimpses of relief from morbid beauty intolerance
There's beauty hidden in every insignificant change. Anything between the previous and the present state is an open wound.
The glare of light in a river that has just melted hurts the eyes. An overload of too much brightness turns contemplation into torture; in fact, hypersensitivity is nothing more than a pathological inability to process beauty. Sometimes the agony subsides and the exhaustion can be savored.
So, the distance between you and beauty is almost always there, sometimes it's made of pain and feels like broken glass, and sometimes it's a shroud of fatigue and feels like a misted car window. Only what's in between (a few moments) gives you a chance to exhale and see what it all really looks like.

Ventriloque des objets, hi-mid wall painter, magnetic shaman, reality shifter and FM entity, Cristiano delivers a dense mix of recordings collected in the last two years made from lone improvisations and collaborative moments.
The set is introduced by 23min of Kinked’ selection with tracks from Apichatpong Weerasethakul, traumesser, Giovanni Napolano, Michele Redolfi, Air Krew, Jake Muir, tumy, vocal samples from Dori Sorride and Kinked’ sound design.

Joseph Kamaru, also known as KMRU, and Igor Dyachenko position the practice of listening, and hence the creation of sound, as a means of revitalising the subjectivity shaped by sound structures.
