Lawrence “DJ Watts” Watling started Watts On The Weekend at the start of the spring semester in 2013, as Philly’s ONLY Dance Music Radio Show. The two hour show features extremely new dance music, a 30-minute live mix by DJ Watts himself, and a 30-minute long guest mix by rising artists within the Philadelphia EDM Scene. d airs live on Saturdays at 5pm on WHIP Temple University‘s Student-Run Radio Station. It is simulcasted over the iHeartRadio and TuneIn radio platform as well. This means you can take the show with you on-the-go by downloading the iHeart Radio application on your smartphone device or tablet. Each episode is uploaded to our Soundcloud following every single show. During the fall 2013 semester, Randall Peery was added to the Watts On The Weekend team as his official Producer. Together they strive to bring NEW electronic music and NEW local talent to our loyal audience.
