⚠️ Long Post Alert.
So earlier this year and to be honest since I started my marketing company others have told me not to trust real estate agents. “Don’t work on a referral basis with them, they’ll never pay you.” And is some cases this has been true.
Example I mean over about $5 Million plus closed and owed to us in referral fees that never got paid out.
However, the one thing that kept ringing in my head is for every one bad Apple there are hundreds, ok maybe 10 great agents that are ethical, honest and hard working.
Not only that I am also a real estate agent. So by not trusting them I am not trusting myself.
So this past month I set that thought bias aside and said let’s see what we could do for them that was mutually beneficial. How can we provide a service to agents where we actually don’t get paid upfront, but still get the agents what they need and in return get what we deserve as well.
It was scary making the 1st post and it is still scary now knowing that we will do our part, but we are also heavily relying on our partner agents to do theirs.
However, after signing up 64 agents so far in the month of August I feel very confident in the agents we are working with. I feel like they have what it takes to hold themselves to a higher standard and if not, there’s always real estate lawyers. 😂
Seriously though, I am glad to be taking this risk with our partner agents, they don’t get paid unless we provide leads that close and guess what?! We also don’t get paid unless we provide leads that will close.
So here’s to another 60+ agents next month!
Like my earlier post said I will take $0 today to make $1,000,000 a year or two from now.
