The Life and times of Jesus excerpt
Our latest podcast is up! ADVENT | Week 4 | Phaballo Thekiso
On our final advent Sunday before Christmas, pastor, writer and photojournalist Phaballo Thekiso asks us where we find ourselves standing most of the time. Do we find ourselves standing on the side of privilege, or the side of the poor and marginalized? How can we relocate ourselves to show deep solidarity to with those who have less than us, those who are bound, and those who are oppressed (Luke 4:18).
Be blessed and inspired as we reflect once more on the beauty and mystery of solidarity, and may we be challenged to relocate ourselves and our resources even as Christ located himself amongst the deeply marginalised.

Have you had a chance to listen to our men's chat yet?
We talk about God mostly using masculine language, and we recognise that that is the way God revealed himself through Jesus on earth. But are we able to liberate the limitless God beyond the strict gender roles which are an overwhelming part of our current social reality? How does the way we see God influence our acting on the world?
