I Couldn't even afford gas ⛽️ ❌

Long Ass Post 🙌🏼

We just got home from 2 nights away at my grandparents in Romney WV for Easter with the family!

Aka my happy place 🫶🏼

To another almost 2k in checks to deposit tomorrow!

Raw moment that most people don't know...
because I use to ALWAYS keep my finances to myself.. (yes sharing these posts make me very uncomfortable)

But I use to barely be able to pay for gas on the way home after Easter.. 🥺

I would spend my last dollars to get the kids everything they ever dreamed of to make up for the fact that I worked 60-100 hours a week and didn't get to spend the time with them that they needed and deserved from me!

And then would have to work double after double to make up for what I had spent.. it was a never ending freaking circle 😔

NOT this year..

now I'm coming home to thousands of dollars with thousands more on the way all because I took a chance on me and changing my families life...

Wanna know the crazy part?? I spent HALF what I normally do on Easter this year.

Why? How does that make sense??? 🤔

Because now.. I see that money is not about buying the materialistic things.

Money to US is about being able to buy our time back.

Go on vacations.
Take a couple days off work without struggling.
Go to the Chinese buffet when we want too. (Yes that's a luxury to us!!)

And just be together as a family!!!

Tonight after you enjoy family time.. spend time with those kiddos.. and stuff yourselves with amazing food..

WE DID IT!!!!

Taking a minute to enjoy this moment.

A few short months ago.. we were so fed up with life.
Mentally, Physically and Emotionally.

I took a leap of faith and watched an hour long video.

If this opportunity could change my life the way it is everyone else's.. then that hour was more than worth my time!

I was mind blown 🤯 But I was SO skeptical. 🤨

But I told my husband that if I see true success from those around me.. that even though I was skeptical. We had to do it! Because I just knew there was something more for us in life!

Now.. I couldn't imagine not taking this leap.
I'm thankful every damn day!!!! 🥹
