Socially distanced kindness
It’s harder to say a random hello with physical distancing, but people running a cafe in Texas came up with a creative idea: while driving, they gave out compliments to strangers and made their day!
These quick interactions don’t seem like much, and yet research has found that connecting with casual acquaintances or “weak ties” makes people happier. These brief connections make us feel seen and improves our social and emotional well-being. Don’t forget to say hello to someone today, even if it’s just online. 💜
