i remember every birthday 💎 when i was 4, my mom brought chocolate muffins for my pre-k class & i remember feeling SO special. when i was 21, i had already been living in Vegas 3 years and decided all i wanted was really good sushi with a few close friends. when i turned 30, i watched fireworks go off at Magic Kingdom and wished upon a star.

Being a Pisces has always been a big part of who i am. A creative. A sensitive, inquisitive soul with a big heart and a LOT of lessons to learn. Whether you believe in astrology or not (based on the aforementioned qualities), no one can deny my absolute longing for the sounds of waves crashing, feeling the sun kiss my skin and dunking my whole head in the sea water. I come alive when I am on the water💧and my love for the ones I hold close to me is deeper than the depths of any ocean.

This birthday seems really different to me. There aren’t any muffins, or nightclubs, or Disney World, or even a fancy dinner… But what remains is family. It has been the one permanent, precious thing in my life and I can’t begin to express what my parents, sister and nephews mean to me. How much my grandparents meant to me. I really miss them, especially tonight.

From the bottom of my heart, I appreciate you for taking this journey with me, even if it’s for a brief while. I accept this year with joy. This beautiful life that’s been so full.

I’m sorry.

After my workout today I went and sat in the sun. The doctor says I have a vitamin D deficiency and yes, I am taking it internally but I always believe the sun is the best medicine there is. (That and salt water. I say this as a Pisces). There is something about my energy that is shifting within me. A breakthrough. I’ve been holding myself back the past month. I don’t know why, or how, but i haven’t done myself any favors. If you can relate, I hope this message reaches you. As my sweet friend Lena always says, “you’re made of magic baby; you just gotta believe.” 🖤🖤🖤

what is your favorite song to dance to? last night, i danced. a lot, in fact! it reminded me that as women, we have a primal responsibility to let our bodies go and just move with the music 🔥 in our never ending quest to find our divine feminine, we often find ourselves stuck in this mentality that we have to be poised, or even rigid - but that is just not the case! when we ebb and flow, it invites the spirit to be more free. 🌬 we can release stress, anxiety, and old wounds simply by being present in the moment. 🤍
