Distracted Driving is not just a fine, not just a fender bender or hitting the curb because an 'LOL' was more important than paying attention to the road, it costs people their lives or the lives of someone they love.

By request we have no major accidents or issues to report in Abington/Glenside right now! We do have some volume out there on your roads though. On Easton Rd. we do have congestion in both directions just past Royal Ave and between E. Waverly Rd. and East Glenside Ave. You are backed up at the intersection of Mt. Carmel Ave and Easton Rd with Mt Carmel Ave. backed up all the way from N Lynnewood Ave to Keswick Ave . Also, we have a slow down at the intersection of Easton Rd. and Jenkintown Rd. W. Glenside Ave jammed between Easton Rd. and Rt-152. Listen to the Geotraffic App "Everything Else" for constant updates on accidents, construction, road closures and any issues that may happen in this area!!

'This is an important message from the Newtown Township Police Department. Beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, March 1, 2016 through Friday, March 4, 2016, West Bound Route 3 (West Chester Pike) between Clyde Lane and Winding Way will be restricted to one lane of traffic between 6am and 3pm.'
