Hey there! I’m Lex, cohost of the Practically Spiritual Podcast.
Hey there! I’m Lex, cohost of the Practically Spiritual Podcast. 🤗
I connected to my spirituality around 2017-2018. Although, at the time I didn’t know that was the case.
After experiencing a traumatic shift in my health leaving me disabled, I began praying to anyone or anything, and asking for answers and help. That’s when the magic, miracles, synchronicities, whatever you want to call started happening! ✨
My healing didn’t happen overnight, in fact, I’m still healing but that moment of desperation led to a new found faith in myself and in the universe which drastically improved my physical and mental wellbeing. It was in that sheer darkness that I realized I can be the light.
I began meditating, journaling, and doing yoga regularly and I could feel myself aligning, shifting into a more powerful healthy state. By connecting to myself, my guides, and my angels I unlocked a part of my reality I only ever dreamed of and I’m continuing to explore it every day. 💫
It’s wild and I often feel doubt but the more I lean into this weird world of spirituality, the better I feel about existing.
I’m excited to connect and share with anyone who resonates with Practically Spiritual! 💕
Hi! I’m Tyler. Cohost of Practically Spiritual.
Honestly, I have a hard time writing about myself. It’s so difficult to distill all of me into a small social media caption. I’m a complicated, multifaceted ball of energy and light shoved into a funky little bone and flesh suit. How’s that?
I feel the pressure of describing myself in a way that will make you want to stay but I realize that I can't do that. It’s your choice. What I can tell you is that I am always striving to grow- to be kinder, to learn more, to be more, to do more, to share more, and to shine brighter. I judge minimally- all I require is that you be willing to learn and change and extend kindness towards others (also, you gotta love yourself- that’s the first step in EVERYTHING).
Authenticity is the goal. Which means honesty, and honestly sharing when I f*ck up. I promise to do that here and everywhere else in my life. (I challenge you to do the same).
I am excited by all of the opportunities that this physical life has to offer but I also recognize that there is a collective darkness that needs to constantly be reevaluated and worked on. I commit to being a spiritual person who does not forget that. I commit to being a white person who does not forget that. I am the universe, you are the universe and we are all experiencing this life. There are forces in this physical world that have really screwed up the balance and as spiritual people who love ourselves, love others, and who love the universe- it is our responsibility to restore oneness..
So come along, it’ll be serious, it will be fun, it will be hard, but most of all it will be worth it.
I love you.
Ep. 11: Language and How It Creates Our Reality, What Does It Mean to Be Spiritual, and Being Authentically You
We explore the difficulties and nuances in how language influences our experience as human beings. Our words are powerful and literally create our reality (i.e. manifestation) so being intentional in the way we speak to each other and ourselves is everything. We both share our current manifesting experiences while deciphering the sometimes chaotic energy when shifting into a new reality.
Lex contemplates what it means to be spiritual and Ty shares how building a personal practice helps her let go of rigidity in her life. We reflect on the podcast as a space to authentically share our spiritual experiences and how we are collectively moving to break the mold of what it means to be a human in this current society. So, share your truth, dress how you want, unapologetically love your passions and interests and be authentically you in every moment and watch the universe deliver everything you’ve ever wanted.

Ep. 10: Learning to Manifest: Release Trauma, Be Consistent, Believe You are Magic
We share the ups and downs of our spiritual journey in the last week. Lex discusses manifestations she’s working on while using her Life Book planner as a tool to find clarity in what daily action can be taken. Ty shares her thoughts on releasing trauma by doing the self-healing (shadow work) to allow your manifestations to take place and how setting boundaries honors this healing by protecting your energy.
You have to put in the work to reap the rewards of your spiritual journey, i.e. manifestation. This means tuning into yourself, acknowledging and accepting your traumas, and consistently showing up for yourself with love. Finding consistency and appreciation for whatever small daily spiritual practice like meditation, affirmations, gratitude, etc. truly facilitates exponential self-growth. Find what feels good so you can stay consistent. You will start to feel and believe it the more you show up for yourself in whatever spiritual practice you choose. Remember, you are powerful and magical!
