The REAL Melbourne ISO Awards

With our little scare this morning, it throws me back to the planning of the ISO awards.

Going over the restrictions and knowing the work Melbourne put's in to being safe every time we an active case, I still feel safe pushing forward forward with the other fiesta Myself, Dean Jarvis, and Whitehart Bar have been working on since reopen (and before reopen if you count the cancellation of 2020)

Join us this Sunday 30th May and celebrate rum.

We will be following all COVIDsafe practices top ensure a fun and safe day for everyone.

Now the dust has settled and my head has stopped hurting, We'd love to thank everyone that joined in on last nights broadcast. We were totally blown away by everyones enthusiasm but not really surprised as the Melbourne hospo scene truly is fantastic.

Congratulations to all the winners, and thank you to all the nominees for jumping in the zoom chat and behaving while cheering on your mates.

A huge thank you to all the presenters, having you all really made it, such an awesome group of humans.

A huge shout out to Kenneth Utting for the stellar performance in presenting Iron Bartender, and to Chelsea Lamperd and Andrew Joseph for jumping online and ripping out some epic beetroot cocktails.

Welcome to the real Melbourne hospo awards!

The Melbourne hospitality community has been ravaged by COVID and these awards are here to bring some light, happiness, and entertainment to all those who are lockdown and miss our community. We are doing this because we believe that through positivity and community we are stronger.

Its Lockdown 2.0 for Melbourne. Again thrusting the hospo scene into dire times. Take away cocktails, home delivery, instant coffee, & podcasts are gonna be our daily routine.

But let’s have a little fun. Let’s host a Melbourne centric, socially distanced award show for some of the side effects of these lock downs.
Heres how is works:
First, we need nominations - You have to tell us your mates, your favourite venues, your favourite reps etc, and which category they are deserving.
Nominations will be running from NOW until Sunday July 26th.
