Hello all you Non-stalgians out there!

Today we're shining the spotlight on writer Georgia Brisco. We asked her the requisite Non-stalgia questions and learned some fascinating stuff about this award-winning, activist, MSt student, actress-turned-author.

Click through to learn more about some interesting places she's been published, her writing journey, and a poet she says we absolutely need to check out. Then, back the anthology if you haven't already so you can read her story, "Working Title," that had us swooning.

Here's Michelle Diane Rose on becoming a storyteller:
"When our mother died, it was my responsibility to watch over my sisters. I told them stories to keep them occupied and out of trouble. When they started asking for stories I'd already told, I figured I should start writing them down, freakish memory notwithstanding."

We want your non-stalgic fiction! The Non-stalgia fiction anthology's call for submissions is now open.

What is non-stalgia?

It’s the wistful imagining of what could have been. The affection for someone you nearly met. The bittersweet pang of an event half-remembered.

Send us your most non-stalgic stories, works about real life—with fictional garnish. Give us the adventure you could have had, or the love story you should have pursued. Or tell us about your high school reunion, but add an extra-dimensional imp only you can see. Whatever inspires you, grow a great story from a personal experience or observation.

This is not nonfiction. It’s non-stalgia.

When you're ready to share your most non-stalgic fiction, visit bit.ly/nonstalgiafiction to submit.
