The freebie queen

Yep you heard that right.

I used to be so damn proud of my self for saying “I don’t need to pay for that, I can figure that out on my own”

Yeah fu***ng right Allyza.

Nice try. A for effort.

I paid for it, I paid time for trying all the things and every thing that was being offered for free because my smart ass thought “I can do this on my own”

So why didn’t all those freebies work for me when those information/ strategy came from a bad ass 6-7 figure coach?

Well because I was operating under that stay broke mindset

I was constantly telling myself “I can do that on my own” and “I knew that”

Well s**t girl if you knew it why weren’t you doing it already?

How much time did you spend doing it on your own? Wayyy too much with little return huh? Thought so.

If I had just admitted to myself that building a business is not someone you do on your own then I’d probably be saved time and hair loss from frustration

I know I’m not alone in this.

So what did I do?

I had to check my mindset. With the help of my coaches, I had realized that my mindset was the biggest roadblock from my growth.
Tell me one 7 figure business owner that doesn’t operate in a growth mindset, I’ll wait...

Here’s the answer. There’s isn’t one.

So are you telling your self “I can do that on my own” how is that going for you? Hopefully better than what I did.

If not, what are you telling yourself?

I’m not even going to ask because I know you’re not about to be caught in that stay broke mentality you’re too smart to stay there. So instead, what are you going to do next?

Dm me your next steps to move towards that growin and glowin mindset, I’d love to hear it. If you need help send me a dm too, no sis left behind.

Like many entrepreneurs, I have a long list of mentors that I’ve learned so much from. Here’s my shortlist (you may know some of them). ⁣

👩🏻 Amy Porterfield⁣

👩🏻 Marie Forleo⁣

🧑🏻‍ Gary Vee ⁣

👱🏼‍♀️ Jasmine Starr ⁣

🧑🏻‍ James Wedmore⁣

I learned a lot about content marketing, course creation and business form each of these brilliant minds. ⁣

But they all have something in common that makes them wholly unrelatable to MY business life. ⁣

NOT ONE of them had kids while building their business and authority. While each of them has shown me how to scale my business to multiple millions of dollars and how to become the #1 person in my niche, none of them could tell me how to do it with a screaming one year old on their lap. ⁣

This is not a knock on them. I’m eternally grateful for all I’ve learned from them and even others not listed here. But building an authority with babies at your feet all day is not simple. ⁣

It’s frustrating, it’s a balance they will never have to experience and downright impossible sometimes. ⁣

So is the point of me saying all this? ⁣

👩🏽‍💻 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐞 of power house CEO mom who can relate to the journey of raising babies and building businesses at the same time ⁣

🎉 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 your wonderful wins even if it’s the littlest things ⁣

Sounds about right 🍿😴

28/02/2020

A young mother is getting media attention following her exceptional performance in her exams not long after giving birth.

27/02/2020

Listen mama,
You already have what it takes to be the best damn CEO.

Yeah you. I’m talking to you mama.

You know that as mothers we already have embody important traits that CEOs have?

Don’t believe me?

Let me break it down Barney Style:
1️⃣ Patience. It is definitely not a walk in the part to start a business, let alone grow it. Growing a business is definitely like raising babies. It sure does test our patience, am I right?

2️⃣ Give, giving more without expecting anything (recognition, appreciation etc) We as mother’s give and give and give and give without ever hearing a “thank you” or being handed a huge check. Let’s be honest, how often did we say “thank you” to our own mothers? Not much, right? yet they gave so much. We do the same thing in business, we give it our all without any expectation of anyone patting our backs or any recognition of our hard work. We don’t look for or need that recognition because we know what we are doing it for and we know our why.

3️⃣ We adapt with ease. When’s the last we planned anything and everything actually went according to plan? Never. Especially with little ones (under 10 😅) These little ones always keeps us on our toes however we still manage to keep going and finish everything needed to do. Sure we were late here and there BUT we got s**t done.

4️⃣ We are driven. We strive to make the lives of our little ones the best we could give them. We don’t ever stop. We go through so much to provide for our little ones and sometimes sacrificing the last of our sanity because we at the end it’s all worth it. He’ll, we sacrifice our own life to give birth and in the ends it’s all worth it especially after holding that precious one in your arms. Everything now seems perfect. Same with the business. If you don’t have the drive then your more likely going to quit the next day when s**t gets hard. Imagine having that much drive in your business? Man, the sky is the limit.

5️⃣ We are resilient. We don’t back down. Yeah sure it may take us time and sometimes doesn’t even feel like we have ourselves together yet we still get up every morning make breakfast and look after everyone. We wipe those tears during our quick cry session in the bathroom and get back out knowing we have a little one that watches are every move so we smile and continue to sing little songs and dance.

You are a freaking badass mama. I hope you know that.

Starting and growing a business isn’t that much different from raising our little ones. You already embody all that you need to be successful.

If you haven’t joined already, click the link in my bio and join me and the other CEO moms kicking ass.

With love,

𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚 𝐇𝐎𝐓 𝐌𝐄𝐒𝐒 🙇🏽‍♀️⁣

𝘐𝘵’𝘴 𝘔𝘰𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘺, and you’ve already cried in the bathroom mid-day then you wipe those tears because you got your little one on the other side of the door waiting for you to give them a snack and a client phone call in the next 10 min.⁣

It’s okay. ⁣

I’ve been there. ⁣
More than often it’s my daughter that pushed all my buttons.. Or it was the catalyst that made that first tear fall. ⁣

It’s so often that I bottle up all my overwhelm and frustrations and just eventually crack. It’s bad that I do that and I definitely advise against that as I am still learning my self to say that IT IS OKAY to just cry.⁣

Crying is healthy. It isn’t weak. In fact, it shows your strength.⁣

And scientifically, it releases oxytocin and endorphins (chemicals that make people feel good).⁣

So here’s the Monday permission to cry. Go ahead. Grab that box of tissue and let it out. ⁣

Let those tears fall. Release that stress and overwhelmed. ⁣

And when you’re done, go ahead and keep kicking ass.⁣

Xo,⁣
Allyza ⁣
