When my father passed away is seemed like there was some questions on what his style and personality was. As life goes on things may change as does a personality. I'm sure not many people beside my wife knows any of this about me (And she's got some of these 100%) so here's for those who want to know more about me!

My favorites:
Colors: Cyan, Grey, Black
Animal: Black Bear and Grizzly
Place: The hills of Tennessee (In a cabin would be nice!)
Food: Chicken Alfredo
Beverage: Dr. Pepper (But it'll have to be limited)
Flower: White Dahlia
Season: Autumn
I don't have a favorite movie or TV show

I enjoy the idea of a rustic early morning with hot coffee and instrumentals while writing in my notebook over a chaotic city night going from place to place.

My selection of music ranges vastly from soothing jazz to rock and from pop to bluegrass. Don't be surprised if you hear my music go from Hollow Coves to Hollywood Undead to Aqua (Barbie Girl) to For King & Country, I just listed differently than most people.

I always strive for perfection but constantly find failure in doing so.
I've worked almost every day since I was in high school to learn skills and apply them to jobs which is why owning my own business is such an important part of my life. Since I've missed out on many things from working all the time I can be more in control of my schedule.

Most people you ask will judge me by the failures and struggles they've seen but few will actually know the depth of the challenges I face without asking, and that's their loss. I have been in a battle with myself for many years and faced the edge but some things aren't meant to happen for a reason. I will always live in fear of rejections because I never think that I'm good enough. Never being enough is the reason I constantly strive for perfection and fail.

I have three amazing sons and two angles we never got the chance to hold. Our oldest, Aiden, may have a temper like I did as a child but the level of knowledge within him is undeniable and his artistic skill grows each day as he challenges his creativity. Owen is the middle child, an autistic wonder, exploring the world for angles most will never experience. He's eager to learn all he can but faced with fear in society and becomes too overwhelmed in public. Mason is the tyrant toddler of the house with his little attitude but as he continues to learn about the world around him his loving personality shows more each day.

I met my wife on December 28, 2012 and we started dating less than a week later. Now we've been married four years together almost ten. Not many people know the battles we've faced early on or how we let our past create fear but not matter what we make each other stronger and better. Most husbands struggle to remember things about their wife but I try to remember even the smallest details. She doesn't like to eat because it's always a struggle to find something that taste good and doesn't make her feel sick or cost a lot of money. She dreams about taking adventures and getting away from the chaos of our lives. Her favorite color is purple (but not THAT purple haha). She used to love skittles, then snickers, then reese's but now she can't handle sugar that much since we've changes our diets.
Things I like about her that she probably doesn't know. . . I love her eyes and how the color changes based on how she's feeling. The random conversations and day dreaming while taking the long country drive home make the greatest memories with her. We're pretty open about our romantic life. I prefer lace over leather. She's overcome more obstacles in her life than she realizes. All she wants in life is for those around her to be happy and to know that finances are taken care of so know our boys are taken care of.

I enjoy writing in notebooks and expanding my education. I enjoy items made of leather, wood, stone or metal with a rustic feel. If I was slimmer I would dress more boho rather but I I wear the same few pairs of pants that are falling apart and the inexpensive shirts to save money.

There's always more to learn about a person but that's a start to help you learn more about me. It's your move, world. . .

The year is coming to an end and I'm praying things get better in 2023.

For those who don't know my health seems to be getting rocky since I had surgery in June. I still don't have many answers but hopefully I'll know a lot more in the next week. This afternoon I'll meet with a genetics counselor to discuss possibilities of genetic deformities. With our families medical history my family doctor was 100% on board with this route since my fsther had already done testing. Next week I will finally meet with my family doctor to discuss everything that's been going on, new symptoms and concerns.

A couple of weeks ago I got a call from the GI nurse with limited information besides I have stage three liver disease. From my research all I can tell is this is severe liver damage with cirrhosis which can not be reversed but with the right diet and exercise it can be stopped or slowed. How severe is it? I'm hoping I'll have answers next week although the doctor won't be able to cover my major concern which is if I'll have to start discussing a liver transplant. I'll continue to pray for answers but in the mean time I'm just trying to manage this pain and fatigue.

We are thankful for all of the support we've received between my father's passing and my health. I really appreciate the words of encouragement and letters from everyone as these seem to remind me thst my family isn't alone through this tough and confusing time.

We're close to catching up on 1 of three months rent thanks to everyone who has shared and donated to our relief and I want to sincerely thabk each of you for the help. If you want to follow the progress, share with your community, or feel moved to assist please learn more on our gofundme linked below. Unfortunately I don't think we'll reach the goals we need to attend my father's memorial service in Alabama but keeping a roof over my family is the top priority.

I wish you all a happy holiday season and blessings to your family.

I may be getting some answers on my health sooner thanks to my P*P!

Dec 5th:
I meet with a genetics counselor where we'll discuss my family history and which test we should proceed with.

Dec 13th:
The Dr. suggested I schedule my appointment a week after I meet with genetics in hopes we have a few additional details to consider. During this appointment we plan to discuss all the crazy event that have been happening, my concerns, and answer some of the questions they have been left open. Unfortunately when it comes to questions like "will I need a liver transplant?" she is leaving that information for the GI to review as she doesn't not have that information and would prefer they discuss that with me if necessary.

Here's to hoping for answers 🤞

I'm pretty sure at this point it's begging but hard times call for desperate measures.

I pretty much have two weeks to get rent caught up ($2,850 total for December) + about $500 to get to my fathers memorial service in Alabama. This will be the only actual service for him as the one here in Indiana is just a celebration of life.
I was fortunate to get the van fixed, I believe which covers one of the major concern for attending the service in Alabama.

I'm 100% transparent on what's going on in my life and if anyone needs the full details they are welcome to send us a message.
To learn more about what is going on with our situation please check out our gofundme. We know many are unable to donate but sharing our story helps us increase the chances of finding those in a position to help. We are beyond grateful to those who have shared and donated to our fund.

If you and in a position to assist us but would prefer to not to use Gofundme please send us a private message.

Thank you again to everyone who continues to remind Ashley and I we're not alone while we figure out why my health is declining and as we grieve the loss of my father.

DEEP POST:

Tomorrow is thanksgiving and most years I would just be thankful for friends and family, the normal things people say but this year is different.

I am thankful that I'm still alive surviving my battle with depression last year.
I am thankful for the memories I've made with my family and friends.
I am thankful for the lessons my father has taught me and the business knowledge he has given me (even though my sickness has made business tank this year)
I am thankful to know who my friends are when I once thought I had no more.
I am thankful for the strength of my household as my wife and sons stand by my side as we've battled this year.

» My list continues but encourage you to share something that you are thankful for this year that is deeper than the general answer.

We know many of our friends and family are unable to help during this difficult times but to those of you who can share our link it would be greatly appreciated as we hope that someone in this community can offer some relief.

Ashley is working to pick up extra shifts at work and the money I'm making with my business is going directly to refunds for now so things are pretty tight.
