things i love doing for my well being
1. get enough sleep (8-9 hours)
& being consistent with it! it’s been tough while travelling but my body always feels better when it gets consistent rest
2. listening to music on my walks!
i love feeling like i’m in my own personal movie or book, music can be so calming or exciting. i don’t wanna say it but i will- it’s a vibe
3. eating what makes me feel good!
i do my best to listen to my body and choose foods that i know will make me feel satisfied and energized
4. EFT tapping (Emotional Freedom Techniques)
helps to regulate my nervous system, combined with words of affirmation i find myself more relaxed and confident to take on the world
5. words of affirmation (a classic)
i usually use things like “you are safe” and “i love you” to speak to my inner child when i’m anxious or worried. i’ve been doing this for over three years and i can tell it calms me down within seconds
6. three deep breaths before bed
i picked this up in 2020, it was the beginning of a meditation i would do before bed and i noticed after a couple months of doing this i would fall asleep within seconds- best technique yet
