Books have always been a great source for both, education and entertainment. Due to Covid-19 and lockdown, the majority of us are looking for things to get engaged with.

I started reading books only in my 12th grade. Although I started with Non-Fictional Books, it was until when I picked a thriller novel that I got fascinated with this genre.

Honestly, I am yet to explore this genre. But by reading 3 to 4 books at least I know what to expect.

As interns, we all have so many doubts we couldn’t find satisfying answers to. This video will kill all of your Internship Doubts.

When students start looking for internships, the most obvious question they have is, “Why the hell they are doing Internships?”.

“What do Internships have to offer them?”

Yeah, the answers to them are quite subjective. But less satisfying for them.

The truth is that as an Intern, one learns everything by actually doing it. It’s a fun learning method and hence students look out for it too much.

Moreover, in a country like India, where Youth is dominating, the companies and organizations offering Internships are fewer. Resulting, a hype for internships among students.

Secondly, sometimes students themselves are confused about the profile they should go for as an intern.

The best way to deal with it is to go for something that excites you the most at the moment. And, later shift to another if felt like.

Coming to cold emailing, students create good emails with catchy subject lines and smart closing. But end up sending it to the wrong person.

The majority send emails to Human Resource Staff, ignoring the fact that they already are flooded with so many emails and recruitment data.

Which in turn, makes chances of your email quite less, even to get noticed.

So, it’s better to send the email to the Head of the department where you actually want to do an internship. This increases your chances at least to get noticed and maybe to grab the internship as well.

Apart from this, starting Freelancing without knowing what it exactly takes to do it. An Intern is naive when it comes to work whereas a Freelancer is quite experienced with work.

He/She can manage the whole business and finances but for an intern it’s difficult.

Lastly, an Internship is not the Ultimate thing which if not found means Life is over. In fact, Life is bigger than anything we all have or want.

Start with a self-project in the form of a blog, by helping local shop owners, managing your household finances, etc.

It’s more fun and a great ride to be on.

Writing Cold Emails is an art, especially when you are aiming to get Internships. And, this video tells exactly how to write cold emails. Must watch for College Students.

Getting Internships is quite a hurdle when the whole world is running for it. Therefore, to make it one has to break out from the crowd.

And, cold email is one of those ways.

Cold Emailing is where you email someone who doesn't know you. And, you know him/her somehow.

Through, this email you intend to introduce yourself, communicate why you are writing, and at last convince the reader to do the necessary things.

But how you do it?

Draft an email that's backed by good research of the prospect, the person to whom you are going to send the email.

The purpose of the email should be absolutely clear in your mind and in the first few lines of your email.

Then leverage your strong research. Mention that you visited their website, social profiles, etc. And, saw what excellent work they have been doing collectively.

Moreover, acknowledge and congratulate the reader n case he/she was in the headlines for something good.

And, lastly, talk about yourself.

Why do you want to do an Internship?
What is your interest with them?
Why you should be given a chance?
Etc.

You need to be honest with your answers. Don't portray the fake perfect image of yours. Instead, tell about your flaws openly.

Your ultimate aim with this cold email should be to get a response. Even if it's a 'NO'.

'NO' means that you succeed in order to email someone who doesn't know you, still persuaded him/her to read and hence, reply.

That's a win, my friend. Now, you know that you gotta move to the next person or company.

So, don't be skeptical about anything. Ever.

Just keep in mind that with cold email, you create a win-win situation for yourself and the reader of the email.
