I know…

I’ve been a bit quiet this past week.

This is because I’ve been putting the finishing touches on a project that has been close to my heart for the past 7 months.

For months, I’ve been thinking about ways to better help new and aspiring course creators to create and launch their online courses without spending thousands of dollars on high ticket courses or wasting time piecing together information from Google and Youtube.

Because, you know…

Dr. Google might have a lot of answers

… but often they are misleading or simply wrong

and even if they are correct,

they can only get you so far.

And yes, of course, there are marketing courses.

But here is the thing with courses: They have really low success and satisfaction rates.

This is because often we need feedback, community, 1:1 support and access to a real expert to really create profitable courses and launch them successfully.

So, you've been showing up on social media every single day BUT the numbers just don't add up.

Despite the effort, getting sales for your course or coaching offer still feels HARD.

You're lucky if you even manage to get one lead per day.

And Yet, you know that your offer is amazing and you can get your clients results....but why am I not getting clients - you ask yourself this question every day

Here's the thing - sometimes it's not your offer or your mindset...

You just need a proper marketing strategy that actually WORKS.

If you're doing all things but still struggling to sell your course, I want you to be honest and ask yourself these questions....

1️⃣ Does my marketing introduce me to new people every day?
Nobody buys from you if they don't know you exist...

You might have been told you need to create more content, use hashtags, do reels...

But let's be honest

Churning out tons of content isn't sustainable.

2️⃣ Do I have a clear and defined customer journey?

There's a lot of advice in the online space, some of it good but some of it is keeping many course creators stuck in the hustle mode...

The truth is, when you're starting out, doing everything yourself, you don't want to be doing all the things.

Instead, you need to focus on activities that are actually going to move the niddle in your business and help you sell your course fast without stressful launches and overpriced coaching programs.

Here are the 3 things that will help you to see results when it comes to creating and selling your courses:

1️⃣ Focus on growing and nurturing your audience

Remember you cannot sell your course if you don't have people to sell it to.

So, instead of focusing all your time into creating your course, start building an audience FIRST.

BTW, this doesn't mean you need to have thousands of followers but you've got to have people to sell to.

This is why I advise against live launches and webinars for new course creators.

The truth is, you can sell your course with just strategic social media posts and a series of emails to your list.

The more engaged and nurtured your audience, the more sales you can get even before your course is fully created.

So, don't focus too much on creating the course and totally neglect the people!

2️⃣Start with a mini-course
If you've been told the only way to succeed as a course creator is to create a signature course - that is not true.

The truth is when you're just starting out, nobody knows about you and it's going to take some convincing to have someone pay you $2000 when you don't have testimonials.

Creating a mini course first can be a great way to understand your audience, prove your process and get paid.

PLUS, You'll have a great resource to start creating your funnels :)

3️⃣ Automate as soon as possible
I know that one VERY popular opinion in the online space is that you don't need automation as a new course creator...

But unless you're OKAY with hustling every day on these streets to get leads and clients - you can't AFFORD not to automate some processes in your business.

One of those being lead generation.

You can't sell your course if you're struggling to get consistent leads.
I know it can be daunting to figure out which systems are required to run your online business but not having a lead generation system in place is starting your business off on the wrong foot.

If the only way to sell your course is by sending DMs every day to your prospects - at some point you'll get tired and burnt out.

If you're anything like me, when you have an idea that you're excited about, you go full speed and try to make it a reality.

Sometimes the idea takes off just as you had imagined... and the end result is even better than you anticipated.

But sometimes it doesn't work out and you have to go back to the drawing board.

While implementing and taking action on your ideas is important, when it comes to your online course or coaching offer there's an important step that you shouldn't miss no matter how excited you are about launching it.

Validating your offer

The last thing you want is create a 12 module course that no one wants to buy😭

Validating your course or coaching offer is the key to determining whether you should go ahead and launch your signature offer.

Failure to do this, you risk wasting months trying to CONVINCE people to buy your offer.

You should never have to convince anyone that they should buy your offer. It should be an easy yes for them.

Taking some extra time to validate your product idea before you jump into creating your full course or program can save you a lot of time, stress and even money in the long run.

There are a lot of companies out there that push for you to focus solely on paid ads, especially if they are hoping to do those ads for you. But the reality is that you CAN build solely organically and then add paid ads into the mix when you can afford to do so. The mixture is where the magic is 💕

I can be the biggest procrastinator at times 😅😅😅 And every time, I realize I would have been way better off to have done the tasks right away 🤦🏾‍♀️

The best tool I've discovered is to write down my top tasks for the week, and then choose my top 3 at the beginning of each day. It doesn't always work, but most of the time I get stuff done, hahaha!
