They see the numbers and think, "Wow! Look at all these amazing metrics!" But the truth is unless you're getting leads, conversions, and retention from your social media work, it's not worth it.
The truth is, that metrics are just numbers.
They don't mean anything until they lead to real-world resultsโlike more sales or more customers reaching out to you because they saw something you posted that resonated with them.
What do I mean by this?

The number one goal of social media is getting leads and conversions from your content.
Suuuuure, it's fun to see how many followers you have or how many likes you getโbut if those followers aren't converting into clients or leads for your business? Then what's the point?
I think you're on to something here.
Metrics are often treated as ends in themselves, but they're really just tools for measuring the impact of your work.
If you're not getting results from your efforts, it's easy to get distracted by numbers that don't matterโand that can be a huge waste of time!
So instead of focusing on metrics like followers, engagement, and rankings, I recommend focusing on leads and conversions.
