Just because life is more chaotic or irrational does not mean that you cannot create what you want. Quite the contrary….
In the Creative Orientation (that I live and coach people in), what feels like chaos is actually the fuel for creating. To be truly creative, you have to go beyond what you know (rationally or intellectually) and embrace the unknown. The tension of not knowing is the essence of the creative spirit.
There is actually NO certainty in the world (other than death and taxes!), no matter how routine or planned we try to make our lives. When you accept this fact, you are in a place of powerful awareness! You now have true choice about what you want to make your life about.

We created so much more than a random assortment of conversations over the year. Some of this did not become apparent to me until our Season One review, where this clip comes from.
We cultivated something near and dear to my heart and the way I live my life — a dance and marriage of masculine and feminine energies. That starts within me (and within each of us) before we are able to bring it successfully into our relationships and our worlds.
I believe in these energies as archetypes that flow through us all, that are in fact available to us all as guidance and inspiration.
We can tend to think of ourselves as all alone in our path and struggles, particularly in the increasing social isolation of the last year or so. We are more alike than we are different, regardless of race, gender, orientation, background, upbringing, etc.
As we connect with the energies that move through us all we will become closer and more capable as humanity!
Please check out our Season One review (parts A and B) detailing all of the episodes and what we’ve learned along the way.

The magic of true learning comes from being open and curious. I set out to review the last 24 of our Season One episodes and came to new and exciting discoveries myself in the midst of that review.
This is the essence of the intuitive learning and creative orientation that determines my life, that I guide others in and that I showcase throughout the conversations we recorded for this show.
When you have an end result in mind and you stay open to how that will happen, you will uncover new and magical learnings and insights along the way. The trick is to stay open and, even when you think you are complete, to assume there’s more….
There’s always more!
Enjoy our Season One review and dive into any one of our 54 curated conversations with ordinary (and extraordinary) individuals who explore what it means to be self-expressed in this world.

We have broken ground on a new year, a new dawn and an infinity of new possibilities. Hallelujah!
Over the course of 2021, we curated and cultivated over 50 unique conversations with amazing people about their personal adventures of self-discovery and self-expression.
These conversations are not for the faint of heart. We lift the lid on the Hero’s Journey of discovering who you really are, through engaging tales that entertain and inspire.

#tbt❤️ We have followed this guidance to the very last episode of this year. And offer it to you as well.
I though and talked about creating a podcast for months. And nothing mattered until I actually created it!
We are not perfect, by any stretch. We are not highly produced.
But we have done the work week in, week out to bring you a full year and a full first season of unique and inspirational conversations every week.
Tomorrow, we bring Season One to a close with the 2nd part of our year-end review.

#tbt❤️ There is a choice you have in life - to be 100% committed and invested in your work AND your play.
I had a chance to participate in the banana throwing contest that Jeff speaks about. We took it very seriously and it was FUN! I mean, we competed about throwing banana peels to land on the branches of a tree down the hill....
It's the same attitude we've taken with this podcast. This is work and this is play and we've been 100% in it, for us and and for you the listener.

Part B of our year and Season One Review is out tomorrow!
Why do we (you/me) do anything? Be honest with yourself. A couple months into this podcast, I had to take a hard look at what I was doing and why.
The answer may be complicated. Or it may not be immediately obvious. That's okay!
It's as important to ask the question as to have a definite (and immediately available) answer. Sometimes, it's enough to ask the question. And then to keep asking it....
If you're doing something that is not aligned with your heart, ditch it. But if you're doing something that is even minutely heart-aligned, it's okay (and maybe even imperative) to keep at it. It's a good way to separate the wheat from the chaff and to see what's true and what is just ego.
The first part of our Season One Review provides an overview of what our first 30 episodes were all about and some of what we learned along the way. Part Two is out on Friday, taking us through the rest of our first 54 episodes.

If you want to do something like create a podcast, you're probably going to start doing most (if not all) the things that are required to produce it. But, like Kenny Rogers sang, you gotta know when to hold 'em and know when to fold 'em.
At some point, you will have a choice about whether to keep doing everything yourself. Or whether to hand over certain tasks to someone else. Someone who has more experience, knowledge and probably more desire to be doing those tasks.
You may think that you cannot afford to bring in someone else. In some cases, you can't afford NOT to! It's not just the money. It's your time investment....
Successful people in all walks of life leverage the skills and talents of others around them. It is a sign of leadership to utilise and empower others. And it will absolutely increase your own power and understanding.
Focus on what you are called to do. And build a team around you to support and leverage your business and creations.

Our Season One Review lifts the lid on what it takes to create, and sustain, a podcast for a whole year.
You can plan out many aspects of your creations but for it to be a truly inspirational, challenging and transformational experience, you will have to go beyond what you know.
Yes, it can be scary out there. But it's where you will find the true gold buried deep inside you. It's where the true adventure of Self begins....
Our latest episode reviews the first 30 episodes and provides a lot of lessons learned on creating a podcast, and creating anything in life.

#tbt❤️ As we draw Season One to a close, we are finishing with what we stand for.
That we, ALL of us, each and every one of us is unique. That we are all called to adventure in our lives, the adventure of self-discovery and self-expression!
In your life, in each project, in each day...you have the opportunity to finish with what you stand for.
That doesn't mean, by the way, that you necessarily accomplish and create that. But that you stand for it! That's integrity.

#tbt❤️ Sooooo, we're solidly in the land of Adventure now.
And the greatest adventure you will ever have in your life is the one back to your heart.
As we celebrate the end of our first season here, I am happy to take a pause to reflect on the adventure thus far....
It's with amazing guests like @williamwhitecloud that we created great conversations and episodes.
Even more so, it's because of great support from listeners like YOU that we had any success at all!
Long may the adventures continue!

Teach your children well! Yeah, but how?
In real estate, it's all about location, location, location. With children, it's all about influence, influence, influence!
Parents play a part in that. But more so, who they listen to on social media and in music.
My guest this week, Shaun SF Banks, has been working in youth and personal development for nearly 15 years and is the founder of the You Can Have It All youth conference and magazine, he is the author of three books, ‘Persevere, Overcome, Win’, ‘Raising Extraordinary Kids’ and ‘Be Unstoppable Living Life’.

Shaun “SF” Banks grew up with a single mother who cleaned houses and buildings for some of the most wealthy and elite people in Seattle, WA. He was instilled with a strong work ethic to pursue big dreams and help others.
One night, his life was rocked by a nightmare when his uncle murdered his aunt and cousin in a domestic violence dispute. SF’s close-knit family was devastated and he vowed to do something in their honor when he became an adult.
In 2007, SF opened the I AM Defense Institute which shows women and children how to protect themselves from attackers. Since that time, he has committed his life to the personal development of youth.
SF is the creator of Camp Warrior King, which helps thousands of youth in the metro Atlanta area gain exposure to amazingly-fun activities. He is also the founder of "You Can Have IT ALL!" Youth conferences and has written 3 books: ‘Persevere Overcome Win’, ‘Raising Extraordinary Kids’, and ‘Be Unstoppable Living Life’.

Society says that you should have a six pack and muscles, but if you’re not that guy in your head and you go to the beach you wear layers because you’re uncomfortable in your own skin.
But you look down the beach to a guy that’s as big as a whale with his shirt off, laid back and having a ball! He’s enjoying life because he could care less about what society thinks he should look like. That guy is being unstoppable living life.
Take your shirt off and you’ll notice no one really cares and isn’t going to judge you because they’re worried about themselves.

#tbt❤️ The words of this one really speak to the reality of this podcast.
It was all just a thought for a looooong time. Until I choose to take action, get the work out there and make myself known.
That's how we turned thoughts into reality - crafting and molding what you want in life takes action!

#tbt❤️ This episode was about corruption in the healthcare industry.
But it still managed to get to the fundamental distinction for living a self-determined life.
YOU have agency over you life, how you live it and what you do...unless you give that away.
So your experience in life is determined by the agency you assume for yourself and your life.
