Sigvards Dižais is a jazz drummer, composer and arranger. He graduated from the Jazz Department of Jāzeps Mediņš Riga Music High School in 2017, currently studying at the JVLMA with Artis Orubs and has improved his skills in drumming and composition with Dré Pallemaerts and Lieven Venken. He has collaborated with Latvian jazz musicians such as Deniss Paškevičš, Vilnis Kundrāts, Dāvis Jurka, Stanislav Yudins, Andris Grunte, Miķelis Dzenuška, Ēriks Miezis, etc. and with foreign musicians such as Matas Ričkus, Lukas Pocius, Oleg Golovetsky, Nicolai Kjærgaard etc. as well.
