Someone said to me this week, “I don’t enjoy my money because of you.”
That stopped me in my tracks.
It made me wonder — is financial wellness misunderstood?
Do people think it means restriction, guilt, or never enjoying life?
Because that’s not what I believe — or teach.
Financial wellness isn’t about not spending.
It’s about understanding your money well enough to choose how you spend it.
Sometimes that means cutting back.
Sometimes it means spending more on experiences, rest, or joy.
For me, planning my money has increased my enjoyment of life — not reduced it. I save, I travel, I curate experiences that matter… because I’m in control 💰.
So I’m curious:
Has managing your money made life feel more restrictive — or more freeing?
Here’s to more intentional choices, better conversations about money, and more escapes in 2026 ✨
