An 8-year-old girl, Siah John, tragically lo$t her life yesterday in Voinjama, Lofa County. The young student of Akoi's Loyal Academy School was reportedlยฅ assault$d and murdโ‚ฌred in a horrific act of violโ‚ฌnce. Her bodยฅ, showing signs of abรผsฤ™, was discovered in an unfinished building behind Koitoma Hill. Disturbingly, parts of her body had bยฃen extracted.

Authorities are investigating this heartbreaking incident. May her soul rest in peace.๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ

The Liberia National Police (LNP) have arrested a prime suspect involving the case of 15 years old Angel T. Weah.

Samuel Brown alias Boi Cracky who is known as her Boyfriend, the suspect is a resident of District #17 and an uprising artist, the both parties has been dating each others for a while.

Boi Cracky started hunting Angel for a few weeks when she informed him that she was 3 months pregnant.

Meanwhile, Samuel has agreed to the Police that he didnโ€™t do it alone.

A dead baby girl was found on the old road near Smyth Road, behind the old British school.
The body was carried by two unknown men on a motorcycle, in an old red carton.

A resident named Emmanuel saw them dropping the carton while running toward their motorbike. Since then, they have never been seen again.

Mary Kollie, a student at the School of Christ International in Weala has passed after allegedly eating doughnut given by a friend named Princess Kpannah.

Princess Kpannah the friend of the deceased admitted to buying the doughnut but denied anything linking her to poisoning the food.

Local authorities are thoroughly looking into the matter to establish the truth behind the allegations.

President Boakai Suspends NEC Chairperson Browne-Lansanah

January 15, 2025

Executive Mansion, Monrovia โ€“ President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr. has suspended Madam Davidetta Browne-Lansanah, Chairperson of the National Elections Commission (NEC), for an indefinite period for actions in violation of the Elections Law.

The suspension follows an investigation into recent protests by aggrieved NEC workers regarding administrative decisions taken without proper consultation. According to the findings, Madam Browne-Lansanah unilaterally announced the closure of the NEC office for one month and dismissed 25 employees without the knowledge or approval of the NEC Board of Commissioners, as required by law.

The President cited Section 2.1 and Section 2.10(d) of the Elections Law, which vests the authority to conduct NEC affairs in the Board of Commissioners as a collective body. The law mandates that decisions involving corrective measures against employees must be taken in consultation with the Board, not by the Chairperson or any individual commissioner acting alone.

โ€œWhile the committee constituted to investigate the grievances of NEC workers was actively addressing the matter, Madam Browne-Lansanah took precipitous and unilateral actions, thereby undermining the integrity and stability of the institution,โ€ the President stated.

The President expressed concern that such actions could adversely impact the NECโ€™s ability to conduct by-elections scheduled within the next two months, while also creating a toxic working environment at the Commission.

The Government of Liberia remains committed to ensuring transparency, accountability, and adherence to the rule of law in all institutions, particularly the NEC, which plays a critical role in upholding Liberiaโ€™s democratic principles.

Breaking!!

A motorcyclist only identified as Papie has died after he allegedly drank five bottles of a popular Liberian liquor called "Spirit" through betting

According to the report, he and his friend bet that he is able to drink 10 bottles of Spirit for 2,700 LD and an iphone. He initially drank five bottles directly but later on started complaining of stomach pains.

He was urged to continue his betting by his mother. He then went to bed and was later on found dead in his room in the Nickley's town community

Why did you choose to bet with Liquor, especially "Spirit"
