Blao Tabao Students Appreciate Hon. , the People Senator of Grand Gedeh County for His significant contribution towards the Grand Gedean Student Community.
It’s often said “give the man his flowers while he’s alive.” For recently shouldering the payment of 25 students of Blao Tabao from Grand Gedeh County UL Entrance Fees, Hon. A. Marshall Dennis received numerous gratitude for his impact of changing lives as well as the dynamic of Grand Gedeh yesterday. The President of the organization also pleaded to Hon. Dennis to increase the number of Beneficiaries by next semester. With no objection, the Senator accepted their request. In addition to the LR$75,000 paid for the entrance exams for 25 students, an amount of LR$90,000 was also paid in favor of students from the same group to clear their arrears at various tertiary institutions.
Coincidentally, the Tubman University Charter of Grand Gedeh Students Union took their times also traveling from Harper City, Maryland County to award Senator Dennis a Certificate of Appreciation for his magnificent contributions in transforming their lives thru his sponsorships.. Noting that during the period of 5 years since he took office, the academic achievements of Grand Gedeh County have been uncountable under his sponsorships. The over excited students mentioned that 5 persons have received Master’s Degrees, over 35 persons bagged Bachelor Degrees, over 57 persons earning Associate Degrees and many more still benefiting under Hon. Dennis sponsorship. Grand Gedeh County University Students Union Tubman University Charter asked for the Senator Sponsorship extension at their University as well. In that vein, the Senator was excited to see his efforts being appreciated by the student Community of Grand Gedeh County and promised to keep up the pace.
People of Grand Gedeh County, it’s time to change the mistakes of yesterday by empowering the student Community and showing gratitude to those who helped along the way.
