A vehicle carrying at least nine people was involved in an accident on August 26, 2024, along the Totota-Gbarnga Highway. Fortunately, no fatalities have been reported.

The vehicle, which included six females and three males, including the driver, lost control due to excessive speeding. The loss of control resulted in the accident, though the full extent of the injuries is not yet clear.

Emergency services promptly responded to the scene, and an investigation into the cause of the accident is currently underway.

Four (4) People Reportedly Fear Dead Following a Tragic Accident along the Pleebo-Harper Road

At least four Students from William V.S. Tubman University are said to have died, following a tragic motorcycle accident along the Pleebo-Harper road.

According to eyes witnesses, the tragic accident involved a speeding ambulance which collided with a motorcyclist who was riding the four persons whom are all students of the William V.S. Tubman University.

The identities of the four individuals have not been confirmed by family members as the JJ Dossen Hospital was overwhelmed with patients at the time of their arrival.

Note: This is a developing story more details will surface as they unfold.

TRAGIC ACCIDENT CLAIMS TRUCK DRIVER LIFE IN GRAND BASSA COUNTY.

A devastating accident took place last night at approximately 9:00 PM, resulting in the immediate death of a truck driver.

The incident occurred in Lloydville, District #1, Grand Bassa County leaving dwellers of the area shock and in sorrow.

Eyewitnesses told Empire TV that the truck driver, who had been en route from Buchanan, was recklessly speeding when he collided with an unoccupied texi parked along the road.

The impact of the crash was so severe that the truck driver lost his life instantly.

The deceased driver has not been identified.

Latest update:

At least 20 persons are critically injured and five fear dead as a result of a fire that engulfed a gas tanker involved in an accident in Totota, B**g County.
According to an eyewitness account, a huge number of residents of Tototal Mulbah Hill community were in a scuffle of getting gasoline pouring from the tanker more than 25 minutes before it burst into flames.

The source of the fire is unknown but our source blamed it on an electric baton believed to be used by an unidentified police officer to disburse the crowd.

The Totota Police commander only identified as Jabateh and a Police aide are among those critically injured according to our source.

The gas tanker in question accordingly belongs to a prominent Liberian business God Willing.

Kakata- A tragic motor accident have resulted 47 person being injured as resulted of a speeding lorry bus bumping into a breakdown 40-foot container truck around Former Senator Oscar Cooper Farm on the outskirt of Kakata.
11 of the 47 sustained fractures either by broken legs or arms.

According to reports the commercial bus was carrying over 50 passengers from Ganta Nimba county to Monrovia as victims blamed the accident to uncontrollable high speed by the driver.

The actual cause of the accident is yet to be established, but eyewitnesses have blamed excessive speeding for the mishap...

A fatal accident has left two dead and one with life threatening injury after a Nissan taxi cab had an accident in Gborfela on the outskirt of on the Weala-Kakata around around 7:45 pm on Saturday.

Eye witnesses account state that the accident might have occurred due to gear failure after trying to climb the hill under a heavy down pour of rain.

The car was over loaded with several bags of corn with the driver along with other men on board.

According to reports the driver died instantly along with one of the men in the front seat while the one at the back sustain major injuries.

The details sorrunding the accident are emerging as the Liberia National Police Margibi Traffic Division investigates.
