GRAND KRU LINSU PRESIDENT ATTRIBUTES DROPPOUT OF SUDENTS IN COUNTY TO REPORTED MINING ACTIVITIES

By: Fedreick Kumeh

Barclayville District, April 3, 2023 (Grand Kru TV News)-The President of Liberia National students Union, Grand Kru Chapter Christopher Kumeh has attributed dropout of students in the county to mining activities and peer pressure.

Christopher Kumeh said majority of the young people in Grand Kru has abandoned the class rooms for mining fields across the county especially the male students.

Kumeh said such undermines the human resource capacity efforts of the George Weah government and partners evident by the free compulsory primary education announced by the Preisdent.

The LINSU Grand Kru Chapter President spoke when he appeared as guest on Education Insight on this station at the weekend in response to a report from Grand Kru Education Office on huge dropout of students in the county.

Kumeh noted to tackle the prevailing situation in the county, central government through the Grand Kru Education should design student oriented programs that will assist financially struggling students in achieving their educational sojourn.

According to Kumeh, the lack of funds also remains a major factor for the huge drop out of mainly male students in the county, something he wants the educational sector of Grand Kru and government to apply more efforts in addressing the matter.

Christopher Kumeh at the same time expressed excitement over reports of huge enrollment of female students in the county.

He encouraged other females to use the report as motivation to choose the path of education to become meaning and productive to Grand Kru and Liberia.

"Liberia integrity icon, Mr. Emmanuel Tuloe in route as part to the delegations of Rep. Gleekia team to celebrate our country Flag day in Tappita city, Nimba county. And this celebration will end thereafter in one of Nimba historical towns Gbor Delley, the headquarters in Gbor chiefdom and home of Liberia integrity icon .

The Liberia integrity icon will join many Gbor citizens in said chiefdom to petition Rep. Twain Gleekia for the pending general and presidential elections comes 2023 .

I'm over happy in writing this soon morning article as a breakfast update to our citizens .

The office of the Integrity Icon of Liberia will be honoring district number six political leader in Rep. Gleekia for his efforts and impart behind his educational records that led him the bigger recognition from the world .

Imagine that people saying this lawmaker isn't making any progress in our district, but the entire country integrity icon indeed showing case too of recognition to many progressive efforts in human capacity building as he gets set to present on said day.

No body stupid here! You have integrity than the integrity icon of our whole country and the world at large ?

Don't be told, join this wining team because time is running faster against us as we keep getting old almost everyday.

Imagine a first time lawmaker has many hand-marks in development-making all around those villages and towns within said geographical localities .

And one thing the opposition community fails to understand and establish is that, Rep. Gleekia isn't a member of the ruling establishment politically , but went through as an opposition lawmaker from the PUP .

Base on his demonstrated passions, or innovation of good governance and creative ideas, he indeed has once again being recognized in the Legislature by our county political godfather and spiritual man in Sen. Prince Johnson to get closer to him and help improve other areas by expanding of our noble Nimba county ."
