I read these verses carefully and didn’t see where Peter is warning believers of Paul’s writings.
First of all , Peter made us to understand that it was God who gave Apostle Paul the wisdom to write these things.
Paul himself confirmed that in Galatians 1:11-12 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it,but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
Except Apostle Suleman want to tell us that Peter and Paul were lying, when they confirmed that it was God who gave Apostle Paul the wisdom to write them or all scriptures wasn’t given by inspiration of God 2 Timothy 3:16.
Was Peter warning believers of Paul’s writings? The answer is no. Apostle Peter was warning believers about those who twist or misinterpret Paul’s writings and other scriptures, not just Paul’s writings, but other scriptures.
Are some of Paul’s writings difficult to understand? Note that other scriptures are also difficult to understand as well. Even some of Jesus’s teachings are difficult to understand by the those Peter was referring to and they twisted it.
Example: Jesus talking about his disciples or whosoever eat of his flesh and drink of his blood has been twisted and misinterpreted by many. Matthew 6:51,54-56.
Even the disciples found hard to understand some of Jesus teachings and he had to explain it to them : Matthew 16:6-12. Luke 9:44-45.
Another example: Adam and Eve eating of the fruit in the garden of Eden has been twisted and misinterpreted by many as well.
They believed and preached that, the fruit that was eaten was s*x, when God made it clear that they should multiply in Genesis 1:28 and the only way to multiply is through s*x.
Verse 15 of 2 Peter 3 makes it even clearer that Peter wasn’t warning believers of Paul’s writings, but warned them not to be led away the lawless people who twist or misinterpret scripture s.
You can’t be a popular and influential Preacher and be discrediting the scripture just because of pride and feel that your worshippers will believe and take in whatever you say.
Paul wrote majority of the New Testament,so are you telling us all these writings were not inspired by the Holy Spirit? Are you even thinking about the message you’re sending out there to those who don’t believe the Bible, people who say the Bible is contradicting and controversial???
Dear believers it is good to love a man of God,but it is better to search the scriptures for yourselves and don’t believe or take in everything they say until you confirm it by the scriptures. Be a Berean Christian not worshiper of men.
Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand 🙏🙏
