In 1980, after the coup, anther act, this time a degree was passed changing the name: Liberia Broadcasting cooperation to the Liberia Broadcasting System and is owned by the government of Liberia. The system is composed of two broadcast components :RADIO and TELEVISION. the radio frequency is 99.9 FM and the Television is 196.25MHZ The Radio covers thirteen (13) out of the fifteen (15) counties and the television covers three (3)out of fifteen (15) counties.
