"Liberian journalist E. Varney Kamah writes,👇👇👇👇

Hello everyone,

I am truly excited and grateful for the opportunity that God Almighty has blessed me, my family, friends, colleagues, and boss to reach this unique day.

As we reflect on the past, many of the people who started this year with us are no longer with us. Some have left this world, while others are fighting for their lives in hospitals. Seeing yourself alive and in good health is a blessing. Remember, as long as there is life, there is hope.

I know that many of us are facing hardships and struggling to provide for our families. I want to encourage you that life is all about time, focus, commitment, hard work, respect, determination, and planning. As we approach 2025, I urge you to stand up and take control of your life. Life may present setbacks, frustration, and heartbreak, but these challenges are part of the journey. What matters most is having self-confidence and the courage to keep moving forward.

As a Liberian journalist, I also call on all Liberians to put aside political differences and work together for the growth and development of our nation. Liberia remains one of the poorest countries in the world, and I urge the government to intensify efforts to reduce the poverty rate. It’s crucial that citizens support the government for a better Liberia. Many Liberians are struggling to survive, with unemployment at an alarmingly high level.

I wish you all a Happy New Year and pray that 2025 will bring positive change, new opportunities, and God’s blessings into all aspects of our lives.

Thank you".

Student Jeremiah G Freeman writes ✍️

"Good morning Rep. Taa Wongbe , and good morning to my peaceful and determine students of district number nine at the Nimba University.

Happy new year in advance to all.

While we all are patiently awaiting a brand new year few hours from now, it also important to remind our Representative in Taa Wongbe that , we the students of district # 9 at the Nimba University have not forgotten about his promise made few months ago.

It can be recall in October this year, when our law maker has gone to Sanniquille for county sitting, he promised the students community of district nine at the University that there was a plan underway for them. Something he said was going to be implemented late November or early December this year.

Today being the last day in this year, I want to call on the Honorable man to fulfill his promise to the students community as the definition of Honorable reflects, respect, not disposed to cheating, not deceptive or fraudulent.

As a leader who wants to see this country progressing, it is important to take the students community who are considered as the future leaders of this land in a very high esteem.

I want to again remind Hon.Taa Wongbe that, the district nine students at Nimba University have not forgotten and therefore, we are patiently awaiting you just as we are awaiting the new year.

Happy New year to all in advance once again".

(Monrovia, Liberia); Montserrado County Senator Abraham Darius Dillon has strongly condemned Sunday’s mob violence that resulted in the deaths of two Liberians, describing the incident as “barbaric,” “unfortunate,” and “disturbing.”

In a statement posted on his social media page, Senator Dillon decried the actions of the angry mob and called for immediate accountability to prevent such acts from being tolerated in Liberian society.

“We spoke with the Justice Minister this morning and urged immediate actions to bring the perpetrators and perpetrators of other related crimes before the law,” Dillon wrote.

According to the Senator, the Justice Minister assured him that the Liberia National Police is actively investigating the matter to ensure that those responsible are brought to justice.

Senator Dillon pledged to remain engaged with the Ministry of Justice and the Police to ensure the case is pursued diligently.

“We shall remain seized of this issue with the Ministry and the Police to ensure justice is properly served,” he stated.

It can be recalled that on Sunday December 29, 2024, angry mob killed two alleged bike rouges at the 72nd junction in Paynesville.

As of 2025, balanced tree television will focus on reporting humanitarian needs.

Most national and international news is still dominated by wars, disasters, and conflicts – and the humanitarian crises they generate.

Some journalistic skills and values are transferable, but fundamentally, approaches are different.

One does not report on a football game to influence its outcome. On the other hand, ethical coverage of humanitarian suffering seeks, not grotesque voyeurism, BUT TO END IT.

National poverty levels remain high. It is estimated that 57 per cent of school-aged children remain out of school.

Kindly do a survey to all of those major market places , you'll see children of aged 12-17 selling pure water.

As a balanced online platform, we thought it'll be wise to focus our report mainly on humanitarian needs rather than focusing too much on government.

Happy new year family, kindly follow our Page.

"I Journalist Abraham B Quaqua Condemns Disrespectful Remarks by Representative Augustine B. Chiewolo

The recent comments made by Lofa County District #5 Representative Augustine B. Chiewolo, Referring to Mr. James Papy Kwabo Founder and General Manager of AYR, as “little Kwabo” during his annual report presentation in Zorzor, is both disrespectful and insulting to a young leader who has made significant contributions to the development and growth of Lofa county.

This remark highlights Representative Chiewolo’s ongoing lack of support and cooperation with AYR. Despite the station’s role in empowering communities and providing opportunities for young people, the Representative has repeatedly ignored its efforts and calling the institution and its leaders, disparaging names:

AYR remains committed to ethical and truthful reporting, including exposing issues such as poor leadership, misuse of public funds, and misleading claims about a donated ambulance.

I truly believe that , Rep.Chiewolo used this disrespectful remarks because of the level of creditability AYR has gained.

Noted: The public depends on the press for accurate news dissemination so in this light,I respectfully ask the honorable Representative to retract his disrespectful statement and apologize to Mr. Kwabo, I strongly believe, leaders should unite and support their communities, not divide them through exclusion and insults.

This unlawful act is absolutely unacceptable, Press Union Of Liberia Official needs to take a stand on this issues"..
