Kakata, Margibi County – July 24, 2025 — In celebration of Liberia’s 178th Independence Day, over 300 residents from four communities in Kakata received a generous donation of essential food items from the Dara V. Willie Humanitarian Foundation.

The initiative was warmly received by community leaders. Telecom Community Chairman, Mr. Peter Trokon, expressed gratitude on behalf of the residents.

“This is the first time we’ve witnessed such a meaningful donation from a foundation. We are grateful to the Dara V. Willie Humanitarian Foundation for remembering us, especially the elderly and vulnerable. It means a lot,” Trokon said.
