THE ROAD TO SUCCESS

Today I dedicate this page to this young energetic, hardworking, and inspiring young artist and a good friend of mine Augustin I. Diggs commonly known as Swiz.
Many dream about being successful but a few ever take a step to make their dreams a reality, just a few bear the sleepless nights and hard work to become what they want to be and to get to where they wish to be, unlike this young artist who since coming up as a little kid always dreamt of becoming a professional musician and making a living off it.
He started his career in 2013, when he was in the seventh (7th) grade class at Carr high school along with two of his friends, A-Wood and D-Bone. Banging on desks and doing freestyles, they got noticed by a crew in the school called the “NORMAL ROUTINE CREW”, there he was helped in modelling his craft and understanding the basics of music, but due to some reasons Swiz and his friends left the Normal Routine crew and formed their own crew ”THE STAR KID LEGENDS”.

Fast forward to 2015 the Star Kid Legends were fortunate to finally get a manager who offered them their first studio session with the Late Quincy and they came up with their first single “Make your move”, which was caused some waves in the township of Caldwell where they reside, later during the year with the help of their manager they were able to work with Duke Blac, Smykid and Young Master pro.
After high school things got a little shaky for Star Kids and everyone had to go solo, it was hard for young Swiz because he didn’t have the support he needed and getting studio time became difficult, but he still pushed through and at the end was fortunate to get a studio deal with young producer T-Raw and he came up with a cover for Nigerian Hit artist Joe Boy song tagged “Baby”, which give him a boost because the song was well accepted by music lovers and his fans at large.
Currently young swiz is out in Sierre Leone on his way to Nigeria in pursuit of his dreams and he’s already meeting some producers along the way.

The Road to success is not an easy one, its full of temptations and despair, but perseverance, prayer, hard work and dedication are the tools we need to carry us through, and if we believe we can achieve.
I want to take this time to wish this young man and a friend of mine, God’s guidance, long life, prosperity and all the blessings he needs to become whatever he wishes to be.
