Stakeholders from Tubunguisue section, in Lofa County Thursday paid a courtesy visit to the Deputy Speaker Hon. Thomas P. Fallah .
During the visit, the head of the delegation Mr. Stephen B. Dorbor appreciated the Deputy Speaker for his leadership role played in the creation of several townships in Lofa County that have passed through both houses while others are pending concordance.
The House of Representatives recently passed bills creating several township within Lofa County and was concord by the Honorable Liberian Senate.
The bills include;
An Act Creating the township of Selvalahun within Kolahun District, An Act creating the Lukasu township Lukambeh Administrative District, An Act creating the township of Gondorlahun within Lukambeh Administrative District, An Act creating the Zerwordamai township in Voinjama District and an Act creating Lawalazu townships within Voinjama Administrative District.
The above bills were concurred with by the Senate on Thursday May 29, 2025.
In response, Deputy Speaker Hon. Fallah told the stakeholders that the creation of those townships is part of their Legislative duties as Law Markers. He promised to continue working with his colleagues in executing their duties as Legislators in the interest of the Country.
He concluded by calling on the stakeholders to use the creation of the townships as a means of fostering peace and unity within the County for the sake of development.

Abraham T. Sakama, William S. Anthony, Sarah, Korsor Harmon, Lawrence G. Baysah, William S. William, Peter W. Fayia and Joseph S. Jallah. Others are James K. Fayiah, Augustine Tambandorkorgar, Augustine T. Fayiah, Stephen B. Dorbor, and M. Fasama Kollie all of Lofa County.
