Yesterday at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium (ATS), District-12 Football Team was defeated by District-11. Despite the game's result, we remain united.

Kindly permit us to channel through this medium, our sincere appreciation to our players for their tireless efforts in writing our District's name on the national chart.

We highly appreciate the coaches and technical staff for their expertise. A high-level of maturity was seen from all of you throughout our games. We will always remain grateful to you for playing such role as we all remain thirsty for change.

Lastly, a very special gratitude goes to our political leader, Hon. McSwain Saah Forkoh, a down-to-earth young man who took the responsibility to support our District Team through the tournament. His actions have proven that he is indeed a great leader who has love for his followers and is always eager to see them happy.

Hon. Forkoh's words of encouragement to the players after the game:

"Today District-12 lost, but we as a people have won. You have the skills to become a champion in this tournament, but l believe this wasn't the time. I want to appreciate all of you for respecting my team and l for the little contributions we have rendered, and l'm truly delighted for the calmed relationship we have built over this short period of time. I so want to recognize the people of District-12 who were on the field cheering our team to victory.

Our District has been abandoned. As young people like me, I'm counting on each and everyone of you to go out there and encourage your friends to join the Forkoh's Movement to Transform District-12. With me serving as the next lawmaker of District-12, you will experience multiplicities of great things that your eyes have never witnessed. I will always continue to work with all of you no matter the circumstances. It's now time to focus on the major priority–redeeming District-12 and that rest on the shoulders of you and l. Thank you."

District-12 deserves better.
