A staunch member of the ruling CDC in Margibi alleged that ordinary Liberians will not have top-appointed positions under the Boakai government
Admits the defeat of the ruling CDC government in the just-ended election in Liberia, a staunch member of the Coalition Democratic Change Mohammed Dunor has alleged that the Boakai’s administration will not appoint local Liberians in top government positions, says the majority of Boakai’s appointees will come from the US and other parts of the globe to serve rather than the Liberian people.
According to Mr. Dunor, President–Elect Boakai during the campaign presented himself as an extraordinary leader to the Liberians something he believes Amb. Boakai will want experts from the diaspora to head top government positions to make good campaign promises.
The staunch CDC partisan also alleged that Amb. Boakai has planned to bring auditors from the US leaving one of Liberia’s best auditor generals John Morlu who stood with him during the difficult times of the election.
He indicated that this had been disclosed by the President–Elect during his interview with VOA calling on international auditors to spearhead the auditing process of the Weah government, a statement he believes has termed John Morlu as an individual who is not qualified for the job.
Mr. Mohammed Dunor appreciates President Weah for giving the local Liberians the opportunity to serve in government during his six years of service to the Liberian people.
