I want to take a moment unbehalf of Touch Life Liberia to express my sincere appreciation to His Excellency Joseph Nyumah Boakai, President of Liberia for avoiding Touch Life Liberia the opportunity as one of the training partners of the Liberia Digital Transformation Project launched in the country.

At the same time, I would appreciate all participants for your active participation in the recent training session of the Liberia Digital Transformation Project (LDTP).

Your enthusiasm, commitment, and engagement were truly remarkable and contributed significantly to the overall success of the project

The insights and experiences you shared were invaluable, and they greatly enriched the learning environment for everyone involved.

Your willingness to collaborate and support your fellow participants exemplifies the spirit of teamwork and continuous improvement that we strive to foster in our organization.

Also to our dynamic trainers, words cannot express how grateful we are for having you served with that extraordinary passion you exhibit. Every moment spent during your session with the participants was incredible, educative, and rewarding.

🌟 Meet Varney, a true story of perseverance and transformation. 🌟

Varney lost his father at age three and grew up with his mother and seven siblings. Life was challenging, especially with a single mother working as a school janitor to provide for her children. After high school, Varney couldn’t afford college and began doing construction work, often without pay.

Determined to improve his situation, Varney joined a private security firm and worked as a guard for seven years, earning less than $100 a month. He arranged to work night shifts to pursue higher education, but his earnings were insufficient to cover his schooling.

With computer skills and knowledge in animation, Varney began volunteering as a trainer for Touch Life Liberia’s computer and vocational training program. In February 2024, he participated in Hope Arising’s Master of Business in the Streets (MBS) training program, learning how to become a self-reliant and successful businessperson.

Just two weeks after the MBS training, Varney resigned from his security job to focus on his own business. Today, he runs a computer training program with over thirty students, rents a building, and plans to purchase land for his institution. Varney now employs two volunteers, thanks to Touch Life Liberia and Hope Arising.

Varney’s journey from poverty to prosperity showcases the impact of Hope Arising’s programs in transforming lives. 🌍❤️

🌟 Meet Rachel, an inspiring example of resilience and determination. 🌟

Once married, Rachel faced immense hardship when her husband unexpectedly left her for another woman. Struggling with emotional turmoil and a skin disease, her life seemed to spiral out of control. But hope found its way back to her through a group of women called Touch Life Liberia, who shared their stories and encouraged each other.

Determined to change her circumstances for herself and her daughter, Rachel started selling water in her community, despite facing ridicule. Her perseverance paid off as her income grew, enabling her to buy a used refrigerator and send her daughter to school.

Seeking further growth, Rachel joined the Master of Business in the Streets (MBS) training program through Hope Arising. With the skills she gained, she transformed her small business into a thriving venture. Just three months after completing the training, Rachel bought a brand new refrigerator and continued to expand her assets.

Today, Rachel owns three refrigerators, televisions, valuable items, and land to build a home. She is now respected in her community, a stark contrast to when she was mocked. Rachel's journey from despair to success is a testament to the power of empowerment and support.

Thank you to Hope Arising's MBS program and Touch Life Liberia for their tireless support of women and girls. Rachel is now a successful and proud mother, living a life of dignity and respect. 🌍❤️

It was a remarkable moment with smiles, knowledge, love ❤️ and great experience having the team from the Hope Arising based in the United States of America with us in Liberia.
This amazing team visit and support to Liberia has shifted the lives of many Liberians who have benefited from the Master of Business in the Streets, MBS training.
This was a special Farewell Dinner at the Farmington Hotel, Roberts International Airport.

Touch Life Liberia business training engagement in various communities kicks off in Lower Margibi County.

At "Let us be one" women's group in Monclay Town, one of the beneficiaries of the business training expressed their willingness and appreciated Touch Life Liberia for such an initiative.
Madam B. Smallwood, spokesperson of "Let us be one" said this is the first of its kind to benefit from this free of charge business knowledge in their community and further expressed certainty that her women businesses will improve and their lives will be transformed.
The training is part of Master of Business in the Streets MBS, Interweave and Hope Arising from the United States of America.
One of Hope Arising goals is to improve the lives of families, from poverty to prosperity and to become self reliant.
