The Ministry of Education hereby informs the public of the reopening of schools for the 2024/2025 academic year for 10th graders and the graduation schedule for 12th graders for the 2023/2024 academic year. The revised dates are as follows:

1. 10th Grade reopening Date: September 16,
2024

2. 12th Grade Graduation Period: September
16–30, 2024

These adjustments pertain specifically to the start date for 10th-grade students and the graduation ceremonies for 12th-grade students. All other grades (kindergarten to 9th grade and 11th to 12graders) will resume classes as initially planned on September 2, 2024.

Eligibility for promotion to the 10th grade or graduation from the 12th grade is contingent upon the successful completion of the 9th grade WAEC or 12th grade WASSCE examinations. The results of these examinations are expected to be released on or before September 15, 2024.

To ensure that 10th-grade students fulfill the mandatory 200 instructional days, the Ministry of Education will make the necessary adjustments to the 2024/2025 academic calendar.

The Ministry further underscores that all private and faith-based schools are required to adhere strictly to this policy decision. Non-compliance will attract severe consequences.

The Management of WAEC LIBERIA is pleased to announce to the public that the entire results, from 1998 to current are being restored online. Candidates can now check their results from 1998 to present using their pin and serial numbers.

As always, the pin and serial numbers can be purchased through the Lonestar mobile money app by dialing *156*4*3*2 # and following the instructions.

We extend thanks to our technical team and our service provider for restoring the results back online after months of intensely technical work.

WAEC also wants to use this medium to sincerely apologize to our numerous clients, stakeholders, and candidates for the inconveniences the inaccessibility of the results online may have caused you.

We want to reassure you of our commitment to quality service delivery in keeping with our vision of being a world class examining body, adding value to the educational goals of our stakeholders.

I wish to share a little information with all of my numerous followers:

1. The attached screen shot photo contains the years of results that are currently online. Which means, those who wrote our exam in any of the years can check their results online. To do so, you can purchase the result checker card by dialing*156*4*3*2 # and follow the instructions.

2. Those who are not found in the category of the years mentioned, can request for Statement of Results or Letter of Attestation, which we will deliver on your behalf to the requesting institution whether in Liberia or abroad. Depending on the year you sat the test, the attestation could be free or one could pay:

(a) 10 USD (to be delivered in Monrovia and/or
its immediate environs)
(b) 20 USD (to be delivered in rural
Montserrado or outside of Montserrado);
and
(c) 50 USD (to be delivered outside the
country).

3. We are working tirelessly to ensure that the just-ended WASSCE for School Candidates results are released in the soonest time possible.

4. The registration and timetable for the last resitter for 2024 will be announced shortly and the mode of payment will be the same (Lonestar mobile money app).
