Nimba inter electoral district peace tournament comes to an end on tomorrow October 16 at the most famous Gompa sports stadium.
As district number (9) takes on district number (8), that is honorable Johnson Gwaikolo taking on Larry younquoi at a cool evening in the city of Gompa. This match is believed to be a do or die cause district number 9 wants to maintain their championship, why this match is district number (8) first ever final since the beginning of the league.

LIBERIA NATIONAL POLICE RECRUITMENT ANNOUNCEMENT

The Administration of the Liberia National Police wishes to inform the general public that the "LNP 2022 Recruitment Process" will commence on Thursday, August 22, 2022 at 0800hrs on the ground of the Liberia National Police Academy and Training School (LNPATS) in Paynesville.

The recruitment exercise will be done in Two phases:

Phase-1 will consider only applicants that have obtained the Recruitment Application Numbers between 2013 and 2014.

Phase-2 will be opened to the general public as of September 15, 2022.

Application Eligibility Criteria:
(a) In accordance with section 22.8 (b) (i) (3) of the LNP Act of 2015, a person is eligible to join the Liberia National Police if that person:
(i) Is a citizen of Liberia;

(ii) Is between the ages of Eighteen and Thirty Five years;

(iii) Is at least a High School graduate that has obtained WAEC Certificate;

(iv) Is physically and mentally fit;

(v) Has a good employment record if currently or previously employed;

(vi) Has not been previously dismissed from the Liberia National Police or any statutory security agency on substantive disciplinary grounds;

(vii) Has a clean criminal record and is not facing any criminal charges, or subject to any investigation for gross human rights violations including war crimes, crimes against humanity or any crime that violates International Human Rights Conventions;

(viii) Is not a holder of any office in a political party or similar organisation and does not openly engage in party political activities.

Females are encouraged to apply.

Arcelormental Liberia has donated 45,000 USD to the G W harley Hospital in sanniquellie city nimba county for the renovation purpose.
Arcelormental Liberia is one of the Giants steal company in Africa and has been exporting iron ore from nimba mountain over 10 years.
The donation in which will buttress government efforts in the country was timely and will create a good boast for the company.

As part of the donation process mr .marcus weh is the head of government community for arcelormental.he made the donation on behalf of the company and said they are again wanting a new partnership with the hospital administration.
On behalf of the hospital Dr.Netty Joe nimba heath team officer appreciate the company for the kind gesture towards the people of nimba and Liberia at large.and she urges metal to keep the partnership strong.

The 2021 representative by election of Liberia which took place in four(4) counties, namely: bomi, b**g, Grand Gedeh and Nimba counties was peacefully conducted in this part of Liberia..
