The House of Representatives summons former and current heads of the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC) to appear before the plenary on Tuesday.

The officials are expected to give reasons why there was a breach of confidentiality concerning former President George Wean's Assets Declaration that have been made public unlawfully.

The decision emanated from a communication written by Representative Frank Saah Foko of Montserrado District # 9 preying the house to invite the LACC officials to give reasons why the ex-President's assets declaration was displayed on Spoon TV without his approval.

Representative Foko contends the law is clear that a person can declared their assets but the publishing of said document should meet their consent.

Nimba County District #9 Representative Hon. Taa wongbe writes:

A moment of gratitude and appreciation: Today, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for Hon. Edwin Melvin Snowe Jr., who I have always called "big brother." As a member of the ECOWAS Parliament, I can confidently say that my experience would have been very different if it weren't for him. Hon. Snowe's reputation and respect within the ECOWAS community are truly remarkable! During a critical and potential crisis moment in the Parliament, Hon. Snowe was overwhelmingly elected Speaker Pro Tempore by all delegates. He performed his duties outstandingly and turned over the gavel of authority after overseeing and ensuring a smooth election. EVERYONE was amazed at how he managed the floor and kept everything in order and ensured that crisis was avoided. Thanks to Hon. Snowe's leadership, Liberia is highly respected within the ECOWAS parliament community. I am proud to have such a capable representative for our country. Thank you, Hon. Snowe, for all that you do. Chief, “something inside” 😂😂😂
