Buchanan- Grand Bassa Senator and Liberia’s President Pro-Tempore Nyonblee Karnga Lawrence calls on youths of Bassa to let go ‘ Battle Cry’ and focus on their empowerment.

Speaking during an appreciation gathering held at the Buchanan City Hall on Friday, January 26, the Pro-Temp acknowledged the importance of youths involvement in politics but encouraged them to focus on developing their minds through skills.

Sen. Lawrence said , it is time for skilled young people to get a job and not to continuously fight for others without adding value to themselves.

“ This is an era for skilled people to get jobs and I want to encourage the young people to focus on skill training and not ‘Battle Cry’.

“ We have been in this for you the young people and not because we want to get rich or want a position or title”.

The Pro-Temp mentioned that Grand Bassa can’t be developed in the midst of divisive ‘Battle Cry’ , adding that it is time for youths without skills to benefit skills from skills training centers that the leaders are going to work together to equip.
