Chief of Staff Prince C. Johnson III warns would be trouble makers ahead of 2023 elections!!!

The Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of Liberia, Major General Prince C. Johnson III has sent out a caveat to politicians to make use of the rule of law through the judicial system of the country in addressing their disengagements as Liberia heads for electrons come 2023.

In a statement posted on the official page of the Ministry of National Defense-Liberia, the Army Chief of Staff stressed that the Armed Forces of Liberia will not sit back but will provide support to the Liberia National Police where necessary.

“We wil not allow anyone or a group of people to obstruct our hard earned peace and Democracy. We will support the LNP and relevant agencies to protect key institutions where necessary“.

It however appears that the statement comes in the wake of a planned anti government protest pronounced by opposition political party the ANC headed by Alexander Cummings.

A Bloody battle of stones has erupted amongst young people on the Capital Bye pass at the HQ of Voice of Liberia while opposition politician Lewis Brown of the ANC was sitting a LIVE interview at the VOL.

A video from FrontPage Africa went LIVE at around 8pm with the caption “Angry crowd awaits Lewis Brown outside the studio of Voice of Liberia on Capitol By-Pass”.

A few minutes later another LIVE video went up, this time from SPOON TV LIVE with this caption. “Live from Capitol by pass, Supporters of CDC and ANC clash”

Opposition politician Lewis Brown of the ANC was on the Voice ofLiberia speaking on the opposition planned ANTI Government protest…

The LNP has however brought the situation under control…

Apple’s new iPhones the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus won’t have physical SIM cards. The company announced the nugget at its event in Cupertino few hours ago revealing that eSIM will be the only way the iPhone 14 series authenticates with wireless carriers at least in the U.S.

The eSIM lets you change a wireless carrier, data or service plan through software rather than having to swap a physical SIM card. It’s hardly a new technology, but it’s only within the last few years that eSIM has become more common on mainstream mobile devices.

Meet John Wennie, a visually impaired Electrician who is not allowing his disabilities to stand in the way of accomplishing his dreams..

John Wennie is a visually impaired electrician. He's a graduate of the Liberia Satellite and Solar Services Providers training program.

Regardless of John's disabilities he has gone against all odds to achieve his dream of wanting to become an electrician.

“I was seven years old when I started dreaming of wanting to become an electrician but at age twelve I lost my sight, and there after everyone told me my dream would die”.

But John didn’t give up on his dreams.

"There are people with sight but their minds are blind, and there are people who do not have sight but their minds are bright, so I didn't give up"

After being accepted in the Liberia Satellite and Solar Service Providers training program, John emerged top of his class and he's now a trained electrician and is now being hired by several clients for solar and satellite installation...

John appeared on the Super Morning Show along with Madam Safiayatu the VP for the training program.

Being impressed with John’s explanation Liberian Business Man Mr. George Kailondo called in on the show this morning and offered John a solar panel installation contract.

John has however encouraged others to follow his trend and not allow their disabilities hold them back…

Forbes has honored Africa’s first female Head of State, former Liberian Leader Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, with the Forbes Woman Africa’s Lifetime Achievement Award for her immense contributions to the advancement of African Women in public leadership.

At this year’s Forbes Woman Africa Leading Women Summit which celebrates across Africa, featured the immense contributions made from EJS Center Board Member and the Director General of the World Trade Organization – WTC, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, the Cornelia Kruah-Togba, with emphasis on the immense contributions being made by women in leading the fight against -19.

Amongst several other international achievements, this year’s winner was among the winners of the Nobel Peace Prize of 2011, an award which was divided in three equal parts between Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, Leymah Gbowee and Tawakkul Karman for their non-violent struggle for the safety of women and for women’s rights to full participation in peace-building work.
