The Story of Media Bureau

The Media Bureau of Sri Dalada Maligawa was established in year 2006 as a small unit. This was an initiative by the present Diyawadana Nilame, Dr. Nilanga Dala. It was developed to a fully fledged unit from year 2011 with the blessings of the incumbents of Malwathu & Asgiriya chapters. By now its one of the top notch Media Center in the country with latest technology and experts from the industry.

ශ්‍රී දළදා මාලිගාවේ මාධ්‍ය කාර්යාංශය 2006 වසරේ දී කුඩා කණ්ඩායමක් ලෙස ආරම්භ කළ ඒකකයකී. ඒ ශ්‍රී දළදා මාලිගාවේ වර්ථමාන දියවඩන නිලමේ අචාර්ය්‍ය ප්‍රදීප් නිලංග දෑල මහතාගේ සංකල්පයකට අනුවයි. පසුව වර්ෂ 2011 පමණ සිට මල්වතු අස්ගිරි මහානායක මාහිමිපාණන් වහන්සේලාගේ පූර්ණ ආශිර්වාදය පෙරටුව, පුළුල් ආයතනයක් ලෙස වැඩි දියුණු කර ඇත. අද වන විට දළදා සමිඳු වැඩවසනා පූජනීය ශ්‍රී දළදා මාලිගාව වෙත ලොව නවීනතම තාක්ෂණයක්ගෙන් සුසැදිව ක්ෂත්‍රයේ විශිෂ්ඨ වෘතික‍යන් පිරිසකගේ දායකත්වයෙන් ක්‍රියාත්මක වන මාධ්‍ය ආයතනයක් බවට පත්කර තිබේ.
