Why can't we develop Sri Lanka's Cloud Forest Villages in the same way as Costa Rica and Ecuador?
After visiting the Knuckles Cloud Forest, I stopped at Loolwatta village because of heavy rain. The beauty of the place made me want to take some videos, but it also made me feel sad.
In countries like Costa Rica and Ecuador, villages near cloud forests grow by focusing on ecotourism and conservation. However, Sri Lanka primarily uses these areas for tea plantations.
Why can't we use these lands like they do, protecting nature and growing the economy? It's time Sri Lanka saw the true potential of its cloud forests and nearby villages.

ඒත් මේ සුන්දරත්වය මැද්දේ මට හිතට දැනුනේ ලොකු දුකක්.😕 එ දේට හේතුව තමා ,ලෝක භුමියෙන් 00.14 % පමණ හිමිකම් කියන වළාකුලු වනාන්තර නම් අපුර්ව පාරිසරික පද්ධතියක්
ආසන්නයේ පිහිට් ගම්මානයක් තේ වත්තකට ,තේ ලයිමකට සිමාවන නොවටින දෙයක්
