Skull & Bones Leaked Footage Appears Online

With the development of the title beginning in 2013, it’s safe to say that Skull & Bones is a little more than fashionably late. Over the years, the game has morphed from an expansion for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag to an independent title. Development on the project has been a mess, but a leaked technical test build has finally given prospective players an idea of what to expect when the game releases–someday.

In February, Ubisoft clarified that the game would be released during the fiscal year ending on March 31, 2023. They also stated that Skull & Bones has a large focus on multiplayer content.

GTA The Trilogy has finally got its release date, with Rockstar’s site revealing the game is set to arrive on PC, Switch, and PlayStation 5 on November 11, 2021. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox editions, which are listed as physical copies, are set to release on December 7, 2021.

UFOs have begun popping up over the GTA Online map, and they might be connected to the next big event in the game. Here’s how you can find the UFO locations in GTA Online.The October 14 update added a flying saucer over Los Santos. Many players have noticed this mysterious UFO and have been searching for it as part of the Sightseeing event.
Here are all the UFO locations in GTA Online:
15 October 2021: Just off Paleto Forest above the beach
16 October 2021: North point of the map near Paleto Bay
17 October 2021: Peak of Mt. Chiliad
18 October 2021: Around the lighthouse near Grapeseed coast
19 October 2021: Altruist Camp radio tower to the west of Mt. Chiliad
20 October 2021: Alien Camp near Sandy Shores
The UFO will appear between 10 PM and 3 AM in-game time. However, if you approach it in a vehicle then the flying saucer will disable your ride. Then, you’ll be left stranded as the alien makes its escape.

Fortnite adds some melange with new Dune crossover.

Epic Games are once again proving that no brand is safe from Fortnite by adding two playable characters from Dune to its hit battle royale shooter. Starting Tuesday at 8PM ET, you’ll be able to buy virtual Fortnite avatars of Paul Atreides and Chani modeled after Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya, the actors who play them in the upcoming movie. There are a handful of other Dune-themed items you can pick up as well, including an ornithopter glider and a Sand Walk emote that mimics how the characters walk to avoid detection by gigantic sandworms.

The tie-up arrives just a few days before Dune’s premiere in theaters and on HBO Max on Friday. While it doesn’t seem as if sandworms will actually be making an appearance in the game (to my great disappointment), there’s plenty of new spooky stuff to check out during Fortnite’s newly announced Halloween event, which runs from Tuesday until November 2nd.

After nearly a full year of speculation and hope, God of War, Sony's tale of Olympian demi-gods, Nordic deities, and the trials and tribulations fatherhood, is now listed on Steam.

Sony has previously expressed interest in bringing more of its first-party games to PC, and has recently committed to some big ones including big names like Horizon Zero Dawn and Uncharted 4. But God of War is not just another PlayStation game—it's a capital-P "Prestige" title that's won numerous acclaim and awards for both its axe-swinging action and its effective portrayal of fatherhood and family.

Ubisoft Confirms 13-Year-Old Fan Theory About Far Cry 2.

For years, fans have speculated that Far Cry 2's villain The Jackal and Far Cry protagonist Jack Carver are one and the same. Now, 13 years after the sequel was released, the game's creative director has confirmed the theory to be true, even though it's never been corroborated by any in-game material.

In an interview with IGN for a documentary on the Far Cry series' villains, Far Cry 2's creative director Clint Hocking confirmed that Jack Carver was definitely The Jackal.

"The Jackal is actually supposed to be Jack Carver from the original Far Cry," Hocking confirmed. "Jack Carver in the original Far Cry was this shifty, smuggler, gun runner kind of crook. The idea was [the Jackal] is just him, 10 years later or something, after he's seen whatever he saw on this island. Maybe it was drug induced, maybe it's post-traumatic stress disorder, or maybe it's real. But the idea is, a decade later, he has levelled up his smuggling game, and he's gotten embroiled in this conflict."

The confirmation is sweet vindication for all the fans who believed The Jackal theory, having pieced it together from a number of clues left by the dev team. The theory was already a very credible one, after data miners revealed that all of The Jackal's texture files have "jackcarver" in the name. Others had suggested the link after noticing the two characters had similar backgrounds, with both having served in the US Navy, and being involved in illegal arms trading.

The first two Far Cry games aren't the only ones in the series that are linked, with recurring characters and events giving the impression that all the games happen in the same enduring world. Far Cry 6 will be the next game to let players explore this world when it releases on October 7.

Fortnite Leak Suggests Mechs Are Making A Comeback.

The potential return of Fortnite's Mechs comes by way of established leaker and dataminer ShiinaBR. According to Shiina, they've discovered a curiously named file uploaded with the game's latest update. Titled "FundingStation.Mech.FundedAmount," the name is undoubtedly referring to the long-vaulted powerful Mechs. At the moment, the leaker says its unknown whether they'll be the 2-person B.R.U.T.E. Mechs from seasons past, or if it will be an all-new Mech more in line with the ongoing events of Fortnite's plot. Shiina also notes Mechs will likely be added later this season based on the file text.

The fact that Sea of Thieves is still being expanded is undoubtedly the best part about joining the game in 2021. Rare has been steadily adding new content to the game since its release, including new features, quest types, and world events for players to experience together.

Season one of the newly introduced seasonal events ended earlier this year, and season two features all-new quests and cosmetics. It's similar to other season pass features seen in games like Fortnite, but it's a lot easier to get through thanks to Sea of Thieves' easy, breezy gameplay.
