ශ්‍රී ලාංකේය පාසල් පද්ධතිය තුළ සුවිශේෂී පාසලක් වශයෙන් ක්‍රියාත්මක වන කොළඹ ආරක්ෂක සේවා විද්‍යාලය වර්ෂ 2007 ක් වූ ජනවාරි මස 17 වන දින ආරම්භ වන්නේ, දේශයේ ස්වෛරීභාවය උදෙසා තම දිවි දෙවැනි කොට කැපවන විරෝදාර රණවිරුවන්ට සිදුකරන උපහාරයක් වශයෙනි.

කෙටි කාල පරිච්ඡේදයක් තුළ කොළඹ ජනප්‍රිය පාසල් අතර ඉහළ පෙලේ සන්නාමයක් නිර්මාණය කර ගැනීමට ආරක්ෂක සේවා විද්‍යාලයට හැකිවූයේ, විද්‍යාලයේ විධිමත් පරිපාලනය හා විනයගරුක සිසු පරපුර තුළින්මය.

කිසිවෙකුටත් සම කල නොහැකි අග්‍රගණ්‍ය භෞතික පහසුකම් පද්ධතියකින් හෙබි විරු විදු පියස, අද වන විට ශ්‍රී ලංකා ත්‍රිවිධ හමුදාවන්ගේ සහ ශ්‍රී ලංකා පොලිසියේ නිලධරයින්ගේ දරු දැරියන් තුන් දහස් පන්සියයකට අධික පිරිසකට ශිල්ප සතර ලබාදෙන්නකි.

ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ ජාතික අධ්‍යාපන පද්ධතියට සෘජුවම සුවිශාල කාර්යභාරයක් ඉටුකරන කොළඹ ආරක්ෂක සේවා විද්‍යාලයට, දේශයේ මුර දේවතාවන් බඳු වූ රණවිරුවන්ගේ දරුදැරියන් දහස් ගණනක්, දැනුමෙන් සන්නද්ධ කර තම දෙමව්පියන් සේම රටට ලෝකයට වැඩදායී මිනිසුන් බවට පත් කරන්නට හැකි වේවායි යන ප්‍රාර්ථනයෙන්,
