Dear brothers and sisters, countrymen, compatriots, today we, friends of Azamat Dolda, are forced to appeal to all of us in connection with the difficult situation in which our friend finds himself. Upon arrival in the states, Azamat worked both as a rickshaw driver and as a moving driver, and for the last six months he drove a truck. But unfortunately, in mid-September, on a regular working day, stopping at the Azamat gas station, feeling unwell, heart failure and being in the truck, I lost consciousness. After a certain time had passed, the drivers standing behind, due to the long wait, decided to contact him and find out what had happened. But when they saw a motionless man lying on the floor of the truck, they decided to urgently call an ambulance. As soon as they arrived at the scene, the ambulance staff assessed the serious condition of the driver and, due to limited time, decided to immediately transport him by helicopter from Dallas to Austin, to one of the best clinics for cardiovascular diseases, specifically for such cases. Fortunately, by the will of God, thanks to the quick help of doctors, they were able to provide timely assistance and do everything necessary to save Azamat’s life. It turned out that a blood clot burst in the right hemisphere of his brain and this led to a stroke. Unfortunately, as a result, the left side of his entire body has largely failed and is now in a paralyzed state. The treatment lasted about a month and after limiting benefits for such treatment from his insurance, it was decided (with his consent and confirmation from the doctors) to transport him to home treatment in New York. At the moment, based on her financial situation, including her savings and help from friends, she is at home and receiving physical therapy. But everything that is available is already running out. In addition, home treatment does not help and his physical condition is deteriorating every day. Due to the weakening of the immune system, other old ailments made themselves felt. Now, we are waiting for papers for doctors’ permission to board Azamat on the plane, Allah willing, we plan to receive them by March 15-20. In general, I would like to add that local hospital and home treatment lasted about 4-5 months, firstly, even with insurance with all the edactabals, it is very expensive, and secondly, to say that it helped a lot is also difficult. In addition, doctors said that the recovery itself would last 2-3 years. So, friends, for this reason, we decided to turn to our, albeit small, but, we believe, friendly and close-knit community, to put our friend on his feet and send him home. All funds raised will go towards Azamat’s treatment, recovery and flights. No one is immune from this; any of us could find ourselves in this situation, especially our fellow truck drivers, with all the stress on their health. As they say, good does not flow through the world like a river, but lives in a family. Let's unite as a family and help our fellow countryman.
